Outstanding ... once you get there!

Local roads are narrow (and local drivers seemed fast to me) ... however once you have arrived the site is as close to perfect as is possible. Owners are helpful but not intrusive. Everything is tidy in a beautiful garden setting. Lots to explore in the area but on a good day it is all too tempting to just sit outside your van and enjoy the tranquillity of the site.

Blissful

If you want peace and quiet in tranquil surroundings, this is the place to go. We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay, made better by Eric and Jill's hospitality. We will certainly return.

Really beautiful

Its an immaculate site, in picture postcard surroundings. Peace, quiet and lovely views, a dream CL for us! I was a bit worried about driving on the grass! Good base for National Trusts and plenty of walking. Thank you Jill and Eric for letting us stay :-)

Perfection

This was our first experience of a CL after using many CC full sites.  We are hooked!  A fabulous location, warm welcome, great weather (specially organised by owners Jill and Eric) and a lawn which felt better beneath our bare feet on a perfect late September morning than a deep pile carpet! If there is a more tranquil, delightful and peaceful CL then please tell us where it is.  We are now converts to the CL concept and look forward to our quest of finding one that comes even close to this one.  We loved it!

A Little Eden

What a perfectly delightful site.A note on the gate to welcome us and a visit from Jill as soon as she arrived back from the village of St Neot, itself a very interesting place. Beautifully landscaped, immaculately grassed site each pitch seperated by trees and shrubs.Jill and Eric made sure everything was in order,we will definitely return and are happy to recommend this site to all who are looking for peace and tranquility

Immaculate...

Although quite isolated and a very narrow entrance this is a beautifully kept site. (We actually lived in the area for many years). Unfortunately Jill & Eric were not at home but the details and a welcome note were pinned to the gate.  Really nice tidy site and gave us everything we needed. We were a bit concerned about leaving in the morning after overnight rain - didn't want to damage the 'billiard table lawn, but all OK thankfully (Phew). Really nice but be aware - for motorhomes you need to take extreme care. (If a hook up was provided down in the yard this lovely little site could be available all year?) Thank you.

Peace and Quiet at its best

Jill and Eric made our stay one to remember for all the right reasons.  The first contact was warm and friendly and their concern to make our stay as enjoyable as possible was clear to see .  The attractive site is kept in first class condition with each of the five pitches separated  by shrubs and trees and the grass mown regularly.

Lovely Site very peaceful

Eric and Jill made us feel very welcome, beautiful site with excellant views over open country side and on site wildlife. Several different birds you will be lulled to sleep & woken by bird songs. Local pub in village serves good food at reasonable prices. Many National Trust properties within area, and south coast only 20 mins away (looe). Access from A30 or A38 via narrow lanes but OK with care. Hope to return soon.

genuine CL

Stayed for a weekend in April. This is a peaceful CL surrounded by fields. It is well maintained with beautiful shrubs and neatly cut grass. Not suitable for people who like to walk everywhere as it is necessary to drive to visit the local places of interest. We will certainly return to this CL if in the area again. We had a superb Sunday roast at the Crows Nest Inn. Siblyback Lake is worth a visit  and a walk up Caradon Hill to the TV transmitter will provide stunning views across Cornwall. to Plymouth and Dartmoor. If you are travelling into Cornwall and want to pause en route at a quiet CL this one is highly recommended and is not far from the A38 or the A30. The information about this CL is all accurate and it is as good as it looks in the pictures.

What a Gem of a Little Site

We visited this site in July this year, and stayed for a few nights. On arrival, we were welcomed by Eric and Jill who loaned us some maps of Cornwall, which we found very useful. A nicer couple you could not wish to meet. The field was like a manicured garden, outlined with various species of trees. That added shelter if needed but did not ruin the view across the Cornish fields. It is an adult only site that offered peace and tranquility. The facilities, although small, were quite adequate and spotlessly clean. The local area, the little village St. Neot, approximately 3/4 of a mile away, had a very nice friendly village pub that served meals. There is also a very interesting, old church, that is worth a visit. On the outskirts of the village we saw lots of wild ponies roaming on the moors. We would like to thank Eric and Jill for their hospitality and will definitely be back when visiting that area again.
