Perfect site for our 5th wheel
This was our first CL and only our 4th campsite with our new 5th Wheel. We were slightly worried about access and manoeuvrability but had no problems negotiating the entrance on arrival. Once in we had bags of room to park up and had a choice of either of the two fields.
As a totally grass site we were fine as we were in the middle of a heatwave and the ground was bone dry, the grass manicured and pretty flat. We used the hookup which was fine. The single WC was perfectly adequate for our needs.
Views were superb across to the Northern Fells where we took several walks and some wild swimming in the Lowther and Eden rivers.
All in all a friendly site that was a perfect antidote after 3 weeks in larger sites. We'll be back.
