lovely site

Had a lovely weekend here, very quiet site, well kept with beautiful views. Monsal Trail can be accessed across the road. Will definitely be returning.

Topley Head

Topley Head Farm had everything we needed from a CL - hardstanding, electricity, space, and tranquility. The site was well organised and tidy. We spent a very pleasant couple of days and would have stayed for more if we could. We have put it on our list of sites to revisit.

Topley Head

We have stopped at Topley Head many many times and it is one of our favourite CLs. However latley it is beeing run by Mrs Wheeldens grandson who has put the prices up and is quite rude and the site is now run down and smelly. Cows and sheep are now allowed in the CL field and on the last visit there was so much poo we could not avoid walking it into the van. Mrs Wheeldon would probably be shocked to find this out as she is extremely nice. This is a CL for absolutle peace and tranquility as the drive from the road to the farm is about half a mile. Its great for long walks in fine scenery and is just a few mins drive from the lovely town of Buxton. When the grandson looses interest or Mrs Wheeldon is better we shall start using it again as it can be "the best".
