GOOD CLEAN RELAXING SITE

Site is very good, clean and quiet with plenty of space between vans and good drainage and me and my family have just had a good stress free week there also very handy for the park and ride. Only Slight issue is Ben the dog who roams round and played with my 2 kids no problem but one day whilst we were out we had left some breakfast bowls in the awning and he got in damaging the zip in the process ..we did not mention it to the owners as did not want to cause a fuss as the damage was only small but I think It is worth mentioning for people to be aware. We would certainly use this site again and would recommend the burgers they were very tasty!!

Highly Recommended

What a fantastic place to stay! The tranquil and picturesque surroundings are surprising given the site's proximity to the edge of the city of Chester. Very easy to access from the local main road network. The toilet facilities are well maintained and very clean. Above all though, the owners deserve a special mention for their welcome and their helpfulness. We had a problem with the caravan and the owner was very generous with his time in helping us, including arranging for a mechanic to visit the site to assist us. We will certainly be returning to enjoy more of this site and the surrounding area.

A good CL Ideal for visiting Chester

I returned today from a somewhat chilly visit to this CL. It is surprisingly quiet considering its location close to the A55/M56 with no road noise at all. The site is level and well drained and maintained. The Toilets and Showers are very clean and well kept albeit a might chilly in February. It is close to the Park and Ride for Chester and ideal for the cycle route to Chester or Connahs Quay. The owners are friendly and helpful with any information you require being provided. I rate this CL Highly and recommended it, we will certainly be returning this year. One thing which I mention to The Caravan Club Ventura Club Sat Nav Users DO NOT use it to get to this CL as it will try to take you up a footpath which when snowing made the journey a nightmare. This is no fault of the owner and I am awaiting feedback from the club

Excellent October Visit

An ideal CL close to Chester and enjoying peaceful rural surroundings . Perfect welcome from Mr Siddorn and they go to a lot of trouble behind the scenes to keep this delightful site very tidy. The toilets/showers were freshly cleaned every morning and the 'little' touches of hand wash , good quality loo rolls and modern electric showers (tokens req'd) put many other CLs to shame. We will definitely be visiting again.

Great LocalPlacesOfInterest!

This CL is easy to find, a minutes drive off a main road but so very much in the country, it's location is fabulous. The CL is as pictured, a good size and with easy access from the farm driveway without having to pass into the farm. The extra facilities it offers are showers and toilets which are located in what appears to be a converted farm building. There is a charge of 40p for a token to use the showers but this gives you approximately 6 minutes which is great value. The only downside is that the building was not heated so in March it was cold! The CL is nice and quiet and from the caravan we watched horse riding lessons in the adjoining field. The only down side I could see was that the farm is on a flight path to a light aircraft runway and so you do see/hear small planes. BAA is also clsoe by so go do get the odd glimpse of enormous planes occassionally landing there ( we actually only saw 2 large planes in the week we were there so it is not a major problem ) The CL is about a 5 minute drive from Chester city centre and if you do not want to take your car/motorhome into the town there is a park and ride approx half a mile away so in good weather you could walk to it to catch the bus. I would definately return to this site.
