Good overnight stop

The site was easy to find and access. The owner came round in the morning to check everything was OK. I was inky staying one night before moving on. Only advise I would say is motorhome users need a sign on a pitch to say in use while they are out as we pulled up and pitched and found out a moterhome user was on the pitch and came across not happy as we had pitched there. We thought the lead was an extension as the electric box for the pitch was afar. I would use again though

An amazing little site

We had a great stay at the Manor House. The site and facilities are really well appointed. The toilet and shower facilities are excellent. The info hut is fantastic addition. The site is ideally located, only a short distance from Dorchester and Weymouth, with a bus stop a few minutes walk away. One slight observation is that the approach road would benefit from some maintenance. I know it's a working farm, but a few tonnes Type 1 would fill in the craters and improve the over-all look and feel on approach to the site. Judy makes regular visits to the site throughout the day to check that everything is okay and chat to visitors. The Manor House is a really great location and we will definitely be coming back to stay again.

One night stand

Found the site very easily. The owner came round and was friendly and helpful. Very quiet. Toilet and shower block was immaculate. First overnight as a campervan owner so pleased we had hard standing, ehu and toilet/shower.

Lovely small, peaceful site

We stayed for three nights. Good shower and toilet plus additional loo. Bus stops just five minutes walk up the road with a bus every 20 minutes. So Dorchester and Weymouth both very accessible. My wife had no problem with the wifi, but I couldn't seem to login. Good power supply and an ariel cable for reasonable TV reception. It's a small hamlet with no immediate shop, pub, etc. Lovely peaceful location. Would return.

Peaceful site, good walks

Stayed for 2 nights in our motorhome - flat field with hardstandings if wet. Great toilets and shower, and tv lead on each pitch. Judy was very welcoming and helpful with local knowledge. We visited Abbotsbury Swannery and gardens, and there is plenty to do in the area. Good dog walking on Maiden Castle- be aware of sheep grazing. Would definitely return 😁

Lovely quiet location but easy to reach

Great site, good facilities and lovely host. Very short walk to access Maiden Castle which then can lead to great walking country, we stayed for one night and managed a 10 mile hike before dinner! Although we are novices, we would recommend and hope other sites we visit are this pleasant.

Fantastic site, quiet but near amenities

What a great find this site was. Judy visited us on arrival and made us feel very welcome. Its quiet location but near amenities - Dorchester and Weymouth are a short drive away. Local pubs are great and its ideal for dog walking being close to Maiden Castle. Its easy to find and has a flat area with a toilet and shower. Will return definitely

Pleasant and quiet stay.

We needed somewhere to stay when meeting friends for lunch in Osmington. We wanted somewhere with hard standing as the ground has been so wet recently. Electric hook-up was a must too. We found the site easily and chose pitch B, as we were given the choice. The showers and toilet were spotless, there was a well stocked information hut, and despite the main road being nearby, the site was quiet! It is an ideal location for bird watchers and others who enjoy the countryside. Our hosts (we only spoke to Judy) were interesting and helpful, with lots of local knowledge. Well worth a visit!

First Class site

Lovely appointed site with all facilities. Wifi was full strength, lovely shower and WC, even TV cable added for good measure. Rainy weather at this time of year but the site owner ensured that we did not have any issues with wet grass. All in all a lovely site in a lovely part of Dorset, plenty to see in Dorchester, Weymouth and Yeovil.
