On arrival owner was grooming horse of which she said she might be on phone earlier. She said we could go and pitch up, weren’t told were to fill up with water as we have a motorhome. We pitched up and eventually found water. Levelling blocks definitely needed. We tried to find owner all afternoon, welcome procedurewas none extinctant. We finally found her, grooming her horses and paid our site fees, once found her she was very friendly. We stayed 3 nights, the toilets and shower was not cleaned in this time. I feel this lets the club down. I couldn’t wait to move in to our next stop, to be clean. Road is very close by and no mention of it on website, was very noisy at times, which spoilt the views and peace and quiet. We had a good few days walking and cycling into Pickering and surrounding areas. The weather was very kind to us.
