A very nice, if sloping site, with lovely views across the Vale of Pickering. Warm welcome & some good home made jams & fresh eggs. An old traction engine in one of farm sheds for added interest! Short walk for buses to Scarborough, half hour walk into Pickering or 5min on bus. Recommend lunch at the village Post Office(!), try the ploughmans. Local fuel station also has very good shop, only  10min walk. Cl just off A170 so some daytime road noise, but reduces in the evenings. We had a lovely week & wouldn't hesitate to return, during our stay 2 of the other outfits were returnees.
