What a hidden gem in the village of Little Baddow, the owners are very welcoming and will do their best to make your stay as easy as possible. An absolutely amazing site, we will definitely be back. Thank you Paul and Colette. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area and beyond, an excellent tea room at Danbury ‘Tea on the Green’.
One of the best
We stayed with Paul at the courts back in June, we were very lucky to be one of the first visitors to stay here, what can I say? It is an absolutely fabulous campsite. I just wish all sales were up to the same standard! Paul was very friendly and informative about the local area. I.e. bike rides pubs, canoeing etc being a keen golfer I was more than happy with the outstanding golf course is nearby.
I would not hesitate to recommend this site to everyone.

Relaxing and quiet location surrounded by woodland and natural wildlife.
Fantastic location for paddle boarding at Papermill Lock which was stunning. The Courts is so peaceful and relaxing with wooded walks and 2 local pubs within walking distance if you desire.
One of our highlights was simply having a barbecue and watching and listening to the local wildlife….perfect ! And of course a Thankyou to Paul who checked in on us to offer advice on local facilities. We will be back !
Fantastic new site
We spent a weekend at the Courts in May and had a great time. The owner, Paul, is very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. The site itself is well laid out with fully services pitches and plenty of space between you and the neighbouring pitch. A short walk takes you to two local pubs, The Rodney and the Generals Arms. We have booked again for end of August and highly recommend this new site

Lovely new site
Just back from a couple of nights on this really lovely and very new site. Very peaceful and nicely laid out. There are a couple of pubs within a short walk, The Generals Arms and the Rodney, and a lovely foody pub about two miles away in Wooodham Walter called the Bell.
The owner is very nice and nothing seems too much trouble for him.
The entrance in on the narrow side, so if you are coming down Spring Elms Lane it may be wise to move out to the other side of the road before turning in.
Very much a 5 out of 5.
Wonderful and peaceful sitr
What an outstanding site... completely off the scale & has to be seen to be believed!
Set in a lovely wooded dell...easily accessible. We stayed because we were going to RHS Hyde Hall...just down the road and Beth Chattos Gardens, which was an easy drive.
Facilities are first class. Huge fully serviced, flat, hardstanding pitches.... Lovely atmosphere with the birds singing.
Paul the owner is a motorhome enthusiast himself so he knows exactly what we're looking for and has put a lot of thought into his site. He's a really friendly guy and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely walks in the area plus a couple of pubs.
If you're in the area its a must!
