We booked this site for 4 days for the bank holiday weekend and were disappointed only by the weather. It rained for almost the whole time we were there. The views, however, were spectacular during the odd blue sky moment or two and it was a peaceful stay on a well kept and maintained site. The owners were welcoming and thoughtful and it was a lovely relaxing pleasure to sit looking out at the beautiful scenery. The site does slope forwards and you need levelling blocks under the jockey and front stops. Access through the secured gate is a little tight..take as wide a swing as possible when bringing the caravan in.. . Only a slight challenge to a competent caravanner. We look forward to returning again in dry weather. The only complaint we had was that the clay based soil retained the copious amounts of water deposited on it by the exceptionally wet conditions we experienced over the may bank holiday period and consequently spat mud when walked on which was difficult to keep off clothes and caravan floors. Apart from this minor inconvenience a lovely site with a lovely couple running it. Many thanks for a good stay to Gary and Adrienne. Hope you enjoyed your birthday celebrations Adrienne.
Stunning views
Just got back from a rather wet weekend stay at this beautiful CL. Approach with care; turning off the A-road is sharp, and the turning into the CL itself even tighter and on rough, broken tarmac; with a twin-axle van it needs to be taken slowly and carefully. Don't miss the left fork turn; it is a turning, not 'straight on', which isn't clear in the book.
The owner came out to meet us when we arrived, despite the driving rain, and explained where everything was. We later learned she was dealing with 2 medical emergencies during the weekend (one canine, one human!) but despite that, still made available some mud-mats for us to step out onto, as our pitch quickly turned into a quagmire. The pitch itself was narrow (not enough room for an awning and a car), and sloping - bring chocks for the jockey wheel and front steadies! CL had EHU, brick-built single loo (no shower) and WiFi, too!
Despite the weather, we had a lovely weekend - just gazing out the caravan windows at the incredible views was wonderful. You feel as if you are on top of the world! West Midlands Safari Park is only a few minute's drive away and made the perfect wet-weather day out - they even had a free kennel to put the dog in!
All in all, a gem of a CL.
Great stay
Excellent CL, warm welcome, beautiful views, easy access to many walks, will certainly return.

5* CL
If you are looking for a good CL site to stay in this area, then this is the place. It is a spacious and quiet site is with great views. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. The grass is kept short and in great condition. With EHUs, WC and wifi, what more do you need? This is a CL site we will certainly be returning too. Definitely recommended.
Well kept site with great views
The site is spacious with fantastic views. The grass is mown short and was in great condition. EHUs and a WC are recent additions and are not shown in the 2013/14 directory. The owners are very friendly and helpful. I predict that when it is widely known that this CL has EHUs it will become very popular! It deserves to. One word of wording...the phone box referred to in the directions is not readily visible until just a few yards before the junction (or at least we didn't see it until too late!). Don't try and reverse back as we did...just take the right turn in about 100 yds where there is plenty of room to turn round. We intend to return.
Excellent CL
If you are looking for a CL in this area, look no further. This site is ideally situated for a lot of local attractions. The owners are very helpful but not intrusive. The CL has some fantastic views. This is a CL we will be coming back too.
Wide Open Spaces
The guide listing states that this site has only 0.5 of an acre and that is probably true of the area that the caravans sit on. But the large field in front and the great view that spreads out in front of you gives the feeling of much more room!
This is a lovely site and apparently only a work in progress so can only get better.
Quiet, peaceful and pretty with good clean facilities on hand and a very welcoming owner. 5 stars from me. We will be back!
Top of the World
Yes. it is situated high up, well it is for Worcestershire; and the views nearly all round are great. The CL is on part of a larger field. So plenty of room to stretch our legs, and at the bottom of the field is a public footpath leading to the Worcestershire way.
We visited four towns all within 10 miles, Bridgnorth, Bewdley, and Stourport, all riverside towns on the banks of the river severn, and Kidderminster. The severn valley railway also links three of these town, you can hear the trains whistle sometimes from the site. Well worth a visit or two, we will be coming back.

quiet and secludedl
We visited this site over the christmas period, the owner was enhancing the site by installing electric hook ups and a new sanitation block. This is a well run site with stunning views over the surrounding countryside. We look forward to returning in the spring to take advantage of the new facilities.
