Welcoming owners, peaceful place to stay
Made very welcome, site peaceful, access easy. Level site with hookups and hardstandings are planned. Located on a working farm with 200 milking cows, but only minimal noise.
Close to Tarka Trail (walking and cycling path) which is part of the Devon Coast to Coast Trail from Ilfracombe to Plymouth. Weare Giffard is also on the route of the former Roll Canal between Bideford and Torrington, part of which is being renovated, and bits of which can still be found in the surrounding area. About 4 miles from the port town of Bideford ("the little white town") on the River Torridge which has all services and facilities. Also in the area are Kingley's Westward Ho!, Atlantic Shopping Village, Clovelly, The Big Sheep and The Milky Way.
