Peaceful with lovely scenery

Easy to find even though it's off the beaten track. Very quiet and the scenery is beautiful. The loudest noises we heard were cows lowing and an owl hooting. A notice board at the entrance tells you which pitch is yours and the pitches are numbered 1 to 5 going away from the entrance. The slope of the pitch gets steeper the further you go from the entrance so you might want to bring blocks to level your camper or caravan. The only complaint we had is that the wet grass had been recently cut and you have to walk over it to get to the bins and the water. This resulted in a lot of grass cuttings accompanying us back to the caravan despite our best efforts to keep them out. Obviously Matt and Lucy can't control the weather but the grass cuttings were irritating! Overall, though, it's a lovely place to stop and so peaceful.

Thanks for visiting - yes the wet weather made it tricky for a few days.

Kind regards
