The best site ever

We are caravanners off and on since the 1950's in our van since 1965. i can honestly say this is one of the best sites we have ever been on. from our first phone call we knew the owners would be friendly. We arrived through the gates to manicured lawns and driveways. we were pitched on number 1. hard standing for the van with the awning on this manicured grass. no shoes or ground sheets needed here. Hazel showed us round and gave directions to every where. The shower and toilet is spotless, lots of hot water and no charge or fiddly taps that keep turning off. Along the rear of of the caravans lies a field, I don't know how big it is Hubby says its a long way around it. While we were there Gerald mowed the circumferance 3 times in 17 days. As it was we had a rain free stay, but had the grass been wet this would of been a godsend., no cuttings left behind either. Hazel said if your dog has recall you can let him off the lead. Well if our dog could talk, he would tell you , he was in doggy heaven , he also met a friend Sidney and they ran and ran together, living their best lives. whilst here hubby celebrated his 80th birthday, Hazel and Gerald came round with a gorgeous homemade cake for him, Hazel had also told us about the Cliff Hotel and their yummy afternoon tea, We decided to go , Hazel offered to do the booking for us, ordered a window table and told them it was his birthday. we would not of known to say this. Hazel was right we had a wonderful afternoon tea , overlooking the sea. Hazel and Gerald are caravanners them selves and have put all their experiance into this CL, Lovely hosts. Lovely grass. Lovely spacious site. With water and grey water to each pitch. Great holiday.
