A relaxing and peaceful spot

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sycamore Farm. The pitches are generous and the Site Owner very welcoming. Our stay was so relaxing and peaceful. It’s a little gem. The site is near to shops and the lovely beach at Caister. Will definitely return. Thank you.

WOW WHAT A SITE

We have been caravanning for many years and this is one of the best Cl's we have stayed on. The pitches are bigger than enormous with fantastic views over farmland. Each pitch is separated by hedges which provide total privacy and although you could easily get maybe 6 caravans on each pitch normally, the whole pitch is yours for the time you are there. The grass is well cut and the hedging well pruned. If I had to score the site I would say it is outstanding. Martin the owner is an extremely amiable gent, who is always available if required, but who allows you to have complete peace and leaves you to enjoy the sound of the birds, watch the rabbits, the deer and enjoy the fabulous views. The site is adult only with water, electricity and there is a spotless private toilet with washbasin available. There are a number of beaches, towns, supermarkets all within close proximity and the seals on the beach at Horsey Gap are amazing I have never seen so many seals enjoying the sand, there are 100's of them. I am amazed that Martin only charges £16 per night which is amazing value. I hope that when we try and book in the future he has spaces as we definitely want to revisit, it has been a really enjoyable 10 nights. Many thanks Martin and save us a space if you can in the future.

Rural Retreat Gem

After reading many of the reviews about this gem of a CL site we were not disappointed. Martin Cockerill the owner was very attentive making sure every day that we were ok and satisfied with our stay. The site is well maintained and overlooks farmland. It is a brilliant location for having a chill holiday and is really well centred to visit Gt Yarmouth, Lowestoft, the Broads and the village of Caister only being a short drive away. After our six hour drive home, later that evening Martin telephoned us to make sure we had arrived home safe and sound. Thank you Martin for your kindness. Highly recommend this site.

Rural Retreat

This is a lovely peaceful CL overlooking open fields. The pitches are very spacious, perfect for chilling out and relaxing! The local shops at Caister are a 5 minute drive away, there is a Lidl and Tesco for re stocking your provisions, if you are feeling energetic you can walk to Caister beach it takes about an hour! There are lots of lovely beaches to explore by car and also the seals at Horsey beach are lovely to see! Thank you Martin for such a lovely well kept site it was a great place to stay.

Gorgeous

Would have to say that this cl would be hard to be beaten! So clean and tidy, enormous grass pitches with complete privacy if that’s what you’re looking for. Great friendly welcome by owner, then left to get on with it but knew he was around if needed ... can only say that we’d recommend it to anyone!

What a Find!!!

Being new to the caravan community this was our first stay on a CL site and it won't be our last. We were made to feel welcome and at home from the moment we arrived. Lots of space and rural views to relax in with the sandy beach only a 5 minute drive away. We spent 8 nights here and Sycamore Farm will feature high on our list of sites to revisit. Thanks again to Mr Cockerill. 25 August 2020

Very well maintained and large pitches

An excellent CL, very well maintained with large screened pitches which are level and flat. The owners are extremely helpful and welcoming, would happily stay again.

One off the best

If you are looking for a peaceful, tranquil and relaxing CL then look no further. This in my opinion is one of the best. The owners are very warm friendly and welcoming. The site is immaculately maintained and cared for. Large spacious pitches even for the biggest twin axle van and awning. Spotlessly clean toilet and shower facility. It is well placed for all the local attractions. The sycamores offers everything and more than a CandM club site for a fraction of the price why stay any where else. We shall without a doubt return.

Peaceful and relaxing

Loved staying here. Our first experience of a CL and couldn't have chosen a better one! Friendly welcome, large well maintained pitches, spotless toilet facilility, beautiful view over the wheat fields and lots of peace and quiet. There is a lovely walk down the lane into Caister and the beach. There are also lots of footpaths and circular walks through some lovely country villages and alongside the river Bure. Take a map and explore the pretty lanes and thatched churches. Our favourite site this year!

Simply the best

A superb CL that we have returned to again and again over the years. Excellent facilities with extra large pitches which are well-tended. An attentive and friendly owner complete the picture. The site is perfectly situated for visiting Gt Yarmouth, the Broads and Norwich. So much to see and do in this area coupled with the peace and tranquility that can be found there that it draws us back several times each year.
