The Perfect CL

In 40 years of caravanning, we have never found a better or more friendly CL. We stayed (for the second time) in July with our granddaughter and were made most welcome. The field is level and very well kept and grass picked up after cutting. It feels very secure as Gaye and Bob are around most of the time and there is a barrier at night. On site there are boules to play, fresh eggs, information hut and very good wifi. There are several beaches just a few miles away (even a secret beach - shhh!) We all enjoyed Cromer pier show. If you want to go to Norwich, there is free parking at the bus stop in Alby. We've already booked our next visit!

warm welcome

Set in a beautiful paddock with log seating, approach via a narrow country lane, with barrier access (open during daylight hours, code issued for when closed). Gaye and Bob - the owners - gave a warm welcome, and throughout the stay would check that everything was OK.  There is an information room including a picture board of previous visitors and details of local cycle rides. WiFi good (pay for access), phone OK,  tv OK but take dvd's in case of poor reception. Fresh farm eggs for sale. Recycling. Local area has a pub, garage , small shop, craft centre and caravan supplies. Close to Cromer, Sheringham and Holt.  The site is good for dogs and children.

Gem of a Site

We loved this site 1st time round, came back for our 2nd visit and wasn't disappointed.  This site is one of those lovely out of the way but not difficult to get to places. Its very informal (which we love) and peaceful. Gaye and Bob are great hosts, with a very relaxed, helpful, & friendly, attitude. There is loads of space making for very generous pitch size. The grounds are well kept and very pretty. The location is really very good being just a couple of minutes off the main A140. As mentioned the access road is narrow but not a problem. Would highly recommend this site.

A peaceful break

From a lovely welcome to making sure we were happy throughout our 2 week stay, Gaye & Bob are the perfect host's. The site is accessed by a narrow road as mentioned but it was never an issue for us during our arrival & stay. Plenty of things to do in the area with walks to local villages, churches etc. We would recommend this site to anyone & we will certainly return.
