What a great site for our Easter get together

Thank you so much to Phillip & Mandy for making our family Easter break so perfect. We were made very welcome, and from the minute we drove on to the site we loved it. Being tucked away in the Norfolk countryside, we enjoyed the spring birdsong, green woodpeckers, yellow hammers, wrens, blackcaps, finches, various tits and saw the first of the summer's swallows swooping over the site. We really enjoyed seeing all the fish in the pond, a peaceful place to pull up your camping chair. The facilities were just what we all loved, a clean toilet shower room, with information, books and lots of other useful stuff. The waste/emptying area was nicely tucked away, and probably one of the best toilet emptying points we have used. We had a kids Easter Egg hunt at the site, and we found lots of good hiding places. Location-wise, this site was very good for us, having easy access to the A11, Wymondham is a super little town, with individual shops, lots of pubs and eateries, the beautiful Abbey and various supermarkets including a Waitrose. We took the train into Norwich from Wymondham and four adults and a child for a return ticket was £14, so good value and no parking issues. We has a couple of drinks at the Boars in Spooner Row and it was very nice with a lovely garden. We were blessed with the best ever Easter weather, and this proved to be the nicest Easter get together ever. Thank you Phillip and Mandy for being such kind and lovely hosts (thank you so much for the loan of the bike for Alfie) - we do appreciate all your efforts in making this a brilliant little CL. We will be back.

Lovely CL site

Lovely little CL site, excellent short dog walk down the disused road over the railway. Well kept and clean. 😁

Fantastic stay!

We had a brilliant week at Stubbs Hill, what a great place to stay. Lovely peaceful site out in the countryside with good links to major roads for exploring Norfolk. Our hosts were lovely and the site facilities clean and tidy, great pitches. The dog loved it too! Fantastic weather in a beautiful place, what more could you want?

Beautiful Site

We had a one night stay at this site on our way to the Norfolk coast. Prior to our visit, the owners kept us informed regarding the ground conditions as the weather had been very wet leading up to our visit. The owners were very welcoming, we were even given 6 fresh chickens eggs! The site is very well maintained with good facilities. Our dog enjoyed walks from the site. A lovely long weekend away

What a lovely peaceful place this is. Lots of space between pitches, we even got a good TV signal. We were given a warm welcome on arrival. The train track is not a disturbance at all, the dawn chorus makes more noise. There is a spotless toilet and shower housed in a very charming log cabin. You do need to drive to any shops but not far. There's a lovely quiet lane for dog walking. We would stay here again if we wanted another break in this area.

Fantastic site had a lovely relaxing break

Phil was friendly and helpful. We had car trouble he recommended a garage who sorted the problem quickly and at a reasonable price. The site is lovely. Well kept with good clean facilities. The area to walk the dog was beautiful and convenient. We would certainly recommend this site if peace and relaxation is what you are after. We will certainly try and return.

A month on site says it all

We spent two weeks on this lovely site in June whilst waiting for our grandchild to arrive. We were so welcomed by Phil and Mandy (his sister and brother as well) that we went back for another two weeks in July. Weather was good site well kept..... Nice and tranquil

Very good indeed

Just back from the Easter break and whilst the weather was not kind this CL was brilliant. Owners are lovely people and you will be made to feel very welcome. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Loads of space between pitches, 16 amp electrics, wifi, good TV reception and even some eggs on arrival. If you 'check out' potential sites via google maps, be aware that Stubbs Farm is NOT the house near the railway line it's the other one. We were almost put off when looking on google as it looks as though you will be camping right next to the railway line but you are not close and there is no significant disturbance from trains. The site is lovely and peaceful and highly recommended.

Just what a CL should be

Stayed at Stubbs Hill CL for four days in August. An excellent site - very quiet and peaceful - plenty of room - friendly and informal. Nice welcome from the proprietors, including delicious box of eggs. Toilet and shower housed in pleasant summer cabin - clean and well maintained. Overall very impressed - hope to return one day. Tip...the nearer your pitch to the entrance gate, the longer you retain the evening sun.

Well kept

Philip and Mandy are lovely, welcoming hosts.Peaceful well maintained site with large pitches. Summerhouse housing toilet and shower with leaflets on local attractions. We could walk the dog from the site down a quiet lane ( only one other house) and off the lead once past passed the pedestrian railway crossing. Lovely rural site which we will definitely visit again.
