Beautiful Gower(when not raining!)

We stayed five nights (June 4to9) at this tidy CL perfectly placed to enjoy the beautiful coastal scenery of the Gower. Mrs. Gordon made us very wecome and the farm eggs are delicious. The site is kept very tidy with all pitches hard standing and toilets clean and tidy. An information pack would have been helpful including where to shop, where to eat and emergency contact numbers.

A gem in the Gower

We were greeted with a warm welcome. The site is easy to access and all hard standing complete with EHU and now a water tap on every pitch - brill. Set in a working farm you are surrounded by the animals you would expect. The odd chicken wanders around and cows moo. A beautiful, relaxing stay. Highly recommended and excellent value at £12 per night during our stay.

Amazing site

This site is very welcoming. Arrived in early spring and particularly enjoyed the local walks, adjacent pubs and lovely, but demanding cycle routes. The walk from the site down through the valley to Cheriton and Llanmagog was beautiful. Best of all - seeing the dogs working with the sheep was astonishing and deeply moving.

Fall in love with baby lambs.

An amazingly helpful and friendly site. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble for the owners. My leisure battery failed on arrival (loss of mover!) without asking, assistance arrived and we were set up in no time. During the following week we were treated to meeting new born lambs, sheepdog working and witnessed a short training session for the dogs. A reaxing site wholeheartedly recommended to all.

Great site, Lovely people!

Glenda greeted us on arrival and gave us the choice of the two available pitches, apart from that we were left to just enjoy our stay. The weather was not brilliant when we arrived but the grass was in good condition and we had no trouble setting up the awning etc. As has been said before, the site is adjacent to a road which is quite busy during the day, but quietens right down in the evening and night so was not a problem. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back in the near future. Thanks for the tomatoes and cucumber Glenda, they were lovely and more than compensation for getting my hands dirty on your caravan socket.

Chickens - sheep and great location

Stembridge Farm Overall rating 5 Stars – The owner was very helpful, giving us a guided tour and checked we were happy. She also gave us tips about local places to go and roads to take. The site is easily accessible and beautifully located in the heart of the Gower. Peace and tranquillity. The farm/site is situated on a “B” road and this causes limited disturbance, the chickens are fun to watch and the site was quiet other than typical farm noises. Access to local places of interest. This is the reason to come to this site. It’s in the very heart of “The Gower”. Need I say more? Surroundings and scenery. It’s a rural farm with terrific views, there were sheep and chickens and we saw an outstanding sunset, with all this as a backdrop. Amazing. Ease of arrival/welcome. The owner was lovely, the site was easy to find and we felt well welcomed, even by their friendly dog.

Excellent CL

Spent 7 nights in glorious weather during the May half term. Received a very warm welcome on arrival from the owner who could not do enough for us and was a great source of local information. Immaculately maintained farm CL and although its next to a road there was minimal disturbance, the dawn chorus had more of an impact!! We would definitely use this CL again and wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to others. Andy & Angela

Excellent Site

Excellent site, our first visit to the Gower. We stayed for 3 nights at the end of April. Toilets very clean, only down side for us could not walk from the site had to drive. There is no foot path to the local pub, would have to walk on the road. Had one meal at the Grey Hound pub, very good. Would go back again to site and the pub.
