Great touring stop

Had a few nights at this CL we already knew the area and booked up as we wanted some walking and it’s just the best for blowing away the winter cobwebs, cliff top walks and time spent at the nearby beaches, winter time is one of the vest times to experience this rugged coast line. Site is tidy and all pitches have a tap and drain, are level on a terraced site. Pitches are perhaps more suited to motorhomes as not particularly large and a caravan, car and awning would be a tight fit. Very quiet and peaceful nights sleep. The nearby craft shop and cafe are only open seasonally, shop was open weekends in Jan/Feb but not sure when the cafe was due to open. The cafe in St Abbs village is lovely and just a short walk down to the harbour. The site owners are friendly and welcoming, often busy with farming jobs. Only negative really is the black gritty surface used for the hard standings, it’s easily trailed inside and not the best in my opinion but that wouldn’t put me off it’s just a small issue.
