A Hidden Gem

I don't know why we have not found this site sooner. We have just spent a perfect weekend there despite rain, wind and frost. Access to the site is simple and drainage of the site very good so we had no problem arriving or departing. The field does slope and I had to raise one wheel by about 5 inches (I will remember to take more levelling block with me next time). The Attridge's were very welcoming and informative. We were lucky enough to have the field to ourselves and a few rabbits. Just across the road is a lovely dog walking area in an old quarry with a path into Holton. There is also a footpath along the brook to Halesworth, although it was closed during our visit for footbridge repairs. By car it is not far to Halesworth in one direction or Southwold in the other. We will definitely return.
