Beautifully maintained to a very high standard

Deborah and Martin have set up an exceptional CL site on the edge of Cannock Chase. Having stayed for a lovely weekend with our little dog we will certainly be back again for another visit. The site is situated on a lane just off the main A34 and is easily accessible. No county lanes to navigate so a big plus! The entrance to the site is controlled by security barrier and on arrival we were met by both Deborah and Martin who gave us a guided tour of the courtyard with gas BBQ and games/TV room. There is a choice of 4 hard standing pitches and one grass pitch all contained in a beautifully manicured field. Water, waste and chemical disposal points are just off at the top end. The standard of the pitches and amenities would put many club sites to shame! There is even anti-bacterial hand wash points provided at the waste disposal point and also at the entrance to the huge paddock which is laid out as a dog walk and is fully enclosed. All in all, one of the best CL sites we have ever had the pleasure to stay at. Well worth a visit, as this is a little gem.

Layed Back

What a lovely welcome awaiting our arrival on this nicely layed out C.L. Deborah and Martin the owners have used the space well, four hard standing and one grass pitch all nicely spaced and level. The entrance which is conveniently off the A34 is barrier controlled from a fob so secure and a separate car parking area if after unloading you want uninterrupted views from your van.The dog walk is ideal for either walking or allowing your dog to run free.It is totally secure, and the flock of sheep in the next field felt secure too.The water and waste area is good, plenty of bins, nice pressure at the hose and a flat paved floor level with the grassed area so no steps. There is a trace of commuter noise from the A34,but if like me you don't mind the noise of people going to work, especially if you can hear it from a sleeping bag,it's minimal.Penkridge market is just a 10 minute drive, well worth a visit,Wednesday and Saturday,Oh and don't forget the on site TV room if like me you like your Sky sport, with refreshments,a nice touch.Deborah and Martin are active guide dog sponsors,so some of the CL profit goes to a great cause, thank you,as Arnie says,I'll be back.
