Relaxing

We had a very relaxing two night stay at this peaceful site. The local Crown public house only a twelve minute walk away served very good meals at a reasonable price, but very popular so booking essential.  A brilliant day out was had on the Bure Valley railway to Wroxham and  then a Cruise on the broads very enjoyable. Two days was definitely not enough to fully explore the locality.  The owners were extremely friendly and welcoming always ready with cheery chat and helpful advice on local area. We would really recommend for a peaceful relaxing stay.

Spring Meadow = Peace and Tranquility

I have visited this site a number of times and have always found a good welcome from the friendly owners. As expected the roads are a little narrow, but no more than you would expect for Norfolk. There is plenty of space to pass oncoming vehicles so never been a problem. I have an 8 metre twin axle unit with a large 4 x 4 tow car and have never found the roads or the access via the gate way to be a problem. Pitches are wood chip so no muddy puddles. The wet room with shower, basin and toilet is clean and tidy and you can buy fresh eggs from the owners. the site is quiet and peaceful with plenty of wildlife and birds to watch. Norwich city is easy accessed via car or park and ride and other attractions are near by. Would highly recommend this site, well worth a visit.

caution

Great site, clean and friendly quiet and peaceful. Only caution is the approach road being  a very narrow lane with passing places which leads to a tight turn onto the site difficulty for large-ish rigs. The wash  / wet room is great for shower but does leave the floor etc wet for use of loo and hand basin. separate  areas would be good. But good site and would return  also recommend the fresh eggs straight from hen house and the crown pub just up the road short walk.

Comment from Community Manager:

Many thanks for leaving a review and we are really pleased to hear you enjoyed the site. We have spoken with the CL owner and they have advised since running the CL from 2006 they are not aware that any members have experienced problems with the entrance. The double entrance gates are 20ft wide and they regulalry have 8 meter caravans plus 4 x 4's coming onto the site. They have also advised that Bridge Road bends in parts but only for a short distance and as long as you approach the entrance slowly, you shouldn't have a problem. They would like to assure guests to their CL that they are always willing to help if needed and hope that everyone enjoys their stay with them.

Stayed for 5 nights in Sept 2013

This is a nice well kept and peaceful site.  Owners are very friendly. Great pub 10 mins walk away which serves good food, dog friendly too.  Field on opposite side of road to exercise your dog.  Ideal place for visiting other parts of Norfolk.  Local produce available to buy nearby.

A most welcoming site

One week here in August, Rich and Alison were most helpful and welcoming. The site is clean, tidy and well maintained. Facilities were just fine for what we needed. Locally, the Crown Inn was superb for food and service, friendly helpful staff. Overall a lovely place to stay, peaceful, quiet and most comfortable. Access and ease of sighting the van were perfect.

Great welcome and peace and tranquility

We stayed here for four nights whilst researching Norfolk churches for our family tree, so found the site perfectly placed for the purpose. The welcome was wonderful from Alison and Richard and it was great to find the sign indicating where we should park. The shower room is nice and clean and the grass is well kept. The Crown in Banningham is only 10 minutes walk away and offer well kept guest ales and good food. We slept incredibly well as it is a really peaceful site. We look forward to our next stay here!

A wonderful and peaceful site

A wonderful, peaceful site. It is well maintained with a shower / toilet facility. We first visited Spring Meadow about nine years ago and have made two or three visits every year since. The owners, Richard and Alison, couldn't be more helpful and pleasant and we now count them as friends. We look forward to many more visits.

What a charming site

This was a very peaceful little site with every thing you need. The village itself was charming and an excellent local pub in the crown in -easy walking distance. The owners were away on our arrival but the site managers were very helpful and friendly. The owners arrived back on the saturday and were also friendly and helpful. overall a very pleasant stay - shall be going back :-)

Peaceful Setting

Lovely peaceful setting with added benefit of a loo & shower room. Very friendly owners and a board is on display at the gate with your pitch number on it ready for your arrival in case nobody around - a lovely touch. Wondering where Richard finds time to go out to work as he seems to be so busy around the site! Nothing is too much trouble for him. A very enjoyable stay and would thoroughly recommend for those wanting to get away from it all.
