A great little site
Apologies to Nick and Roz, we visited in mid July and I fully intended to write a review when we got home, but things got in the way, until this evening.
Every now and again we come across sites that remind us why we like caravanning so much, this is one of those sites. Nick and Roz gave us a lovely warm welcome, make sure we were happy with our pitch and explaining where everything was located. Not only that but a welcoming cup of tea was gratefully received. The site is a superb. It is a really good size, allowing caravans/motorhomes to be well spaced, the pitches are even and grass is cut beautifully. There is a railway across the bottom of the site, but it is in a cutting and we hardly noticed it.
This is a really easy site to find and is a great location for discovering the local area.
It is a long way from our home, but next time we head that way Southfield will be on our must visit list.
