We were given a warm welcome by Mr Marris who left the choice of where to park up to us.  This is an extremely well kept area, peaceful, quiet and open views.  We saw a deer this morning before leaving, making our stay more memorable.  If you stay here then go to the Dambusters Inn at Scampton which is the pub the pilots used to drink in.  It is decorated with memoribila, really interesting and nostalgic.  Bar staff dressed in 40s clothing to add to the atmosphere.  Don't forget to read the visitors book. We will definitely be back to both the site and the Dambusters Inn.
