Excellent site

An amazing CL that sets the standard for others to follow. Clean, modern, welcoming with everything you might need. By far the best I have ever stayed on.

Super CL

Stayed for 1 night and what a great little spot. Peaceful. There was only one other visitor but even if full I'm sure it would be great. A warm welcome from Sue who showed us the facilities, which are more akin to an upmarket B&B or hotel than a campsite. There's a lovely washing up facility, 2 showers, 2 toilets and a washing area along with the usual campsite facilities. Absolute steal for £20. And at this time of year there are loads of brambles to be picked along the lane - an added bonus.

AB FAB

What a lovely, welcoming & peaceful CL site with brilliant facilities - well thought out. Every site should have a Sue & Les!! Best site we have been on. The added bonus being the food from The Pheasant (even takeaway) which was excellent! Sorbie Primary School - we'll be back!!!!!!

Outstanding CL

We stayed here for a weeks holiday. This has to be the best CL we have ever stayed on. We got a great welcome from Sue and Les, a guided tour of the facilities and given an information booklet. Each pitch has really good quality hard standing , with water and electric to each one, every pitch had solar lighting on every pitch. The site sits behind the old school with views over the fields. The facilites are second to none with 2 showers, a privacy cubicle and two toilets all of which are kept spotless at all times. There is a washing up area with even the washing up liquid provided. The CL is set in a lovely area with lots to see and do. Would certainly recommend this site it is well worth a visit and we will certainly return.

5 star plus CL!!!

We stayed on here at the weekend, Wow!! Never stayed on a CL before with such beautiful facilities.we got a great welcome from Sue and Les, a guided tour ,and great information booklet.each pitch has really good quality hard standing , with water and electric to each one, even lighting on every post. The site sits behind the old school so very sheltered and a right little sun trap. The pheasant( Italian restaurant) is just 2 mins from the site and serves delicious food.If I could rate this a 10 star I would. ! If visiting Dumfries and Galloway you won't find better than this .

A CL site to be proud of!

If you prefer an adult CL which offers total peace and quiet......they don't come better than this. This area is superb for cycling whether on or off road. You can cycle for miles on the quietest roads in Scotland but if you want someone else to do the hard work an excellent bus service passes by just minutes from the school playground! Facilities are excellent and as already reviewed the toilets and showers are truly luxury standard. Thank you Les and Sue, we look forward to seeing you again soon, G & J.

Lovely new CL

This is a new CL & every attention to details has been thought of...Les & Sue are very welcoming and as motorhomers themselves they know what folk want....the shower/toilet facilities are gorgeous & good deep sinks for washing dishes. If in future if laundry facilities were available it would have all the facilities of a large site with the benefit of a small 5 van site...lovely quiet area...Italian restaurant in the village. Would definitely return if we are in the area. Thank you to Sue & Les for making us & the dogs welcome Ian & Hazel

Excellent CL

Was given a warm welcome by the owners, Sue and Les. The site is well thought out with excellent shower and toilet facilities inside the old school building. This site is in a central position to explore the Wigtownshire area.
