We have just spent 4 nights at Shamwari. It is a lovely site, large grass pitches and beautiful views over the hills. We were also lucky enough to see 2 amazing sunsets. Carole is the best host we have ever come across. She did a meet and greet and provided us with an information pack and some books on walks in the area, which were so useful. She was also there for us when we left to say goodbye. I must say this is becoming rare on CL sites, we actually never even saw the host on the site before, just put your money in a box and crack on ……. There are no walks from the site but a great dog walking area provided and some beautiful places to visit a short drive away. This is definitely a site and area we will return to.
