Lovely clean, well kept site, really large pitches.
Very well organised check in. Marie was very helpful with her local knowledge of the area.
Everything you require from a CL.
Lovely local walks.
Certainly somewhere we will be visiting again.
Great CL
Booked into stay for 3 nights ,very easy and clear instructions for booking and payment .
Very attentive owners with excellent communications on our day of arrival. Then no problem when we wanted to stay another night due to not wanting to travel in high winds
Elsan point and bins all very tidy and easy to use.
Very quiet ,apart from the wind 😉😃.
Easy walk to Appledore and can recommend Slyvesters for Fish and Chips . Also good ice cream van on front

Lovely little CL site
We booked here at the tail end of a 2 week trip travelling the SW .. booked for 4 nights ..
Great communications and reasonably priced . Lovely walks around the area with the Downs and beach behind site .
Appledore about a 30 minute walk away with a bus stop within a 10 min walk to Biddeford, ilfracoombe etc .
The owners are lovely and very helpful and this site is very well kept and very peaceful .
Pitch by gate does get road noise but it’s not a busy lane so not a problem ..
we walked to Westward Ho! And to be honest was not somewhere I would visit again, was quite a big police presence and was quite run down .. good fish n chips tho and ice cream ..
Appledore is lovely and the views across the downs are breathtaking .. very quaint ..
£25 a night with electric so very reasonable .. no facilities apart from water and toilet waste but designed for units with own facilities like most CL sites.. lots of space between pitches very well spaced ..
Would happily return if in this area again .. highly recommend.. thanks for a lovely stay ..
Fabulous site
Lovely site, with large pitches. Only a 15 minutes walk from the sea. You can easily walk into Appledore but bus route at top of nearby road. Excellent for Royal North Devon Golf course, only a couple of minutes drive. Marie and Jason excellent and friendly hosts! Good tv and telephone reception!
Fantastic site
We booked here very last minute calling just the day before. We were really lucky as Marie could accommodate us for 4 nights due to a cancellation. We were advised on which pitch was free before arrival and where everything was. Texted Marie when we arrived and she popped down later and advised us on the local eateries which we were most grateful for. We ate at The Yard in Appledore which is very dog friendly but you need to book.
Situated by Northam Burrows and within walking distance into Appledore, Northam and Westard Ho, the site is very well situated. Despite not having a toilet or shower on site we give it full marks for site layout, cleanliness and the lovely planting.
We went to Clovelly for a visit. I would advise going early if you are taking a motorhome so that parking is easier. Bideford there are motorhome parking spots at the very far end of Bideford Riverbank Car park. We will definitely come back again as it is so convenient for a last minute break for us.

Seabreeze cl
We have just returned from spending 4 nights at Seabreeze and have to say we had a great time the site is very spacious with 2 water taps a very clean area for recycling and elson emptying
All pitches are along one side of the site in a very sunny outlook
The location is superb within a very short stroll to Northam Burrows and the coast
Fantastic for walking and to watch the sun set
Within close proximity to Appledore westward Ho and instow
Marie the owner is very helpful and friendly
It’s certainly a site that we would revisit and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending
5 nights in perfect setting, again!
Marie made our booking easy and managed to site us on our chosen pitch. This is our second year here and peaceful, friendly, tidy site.
We will be back.
All good
Just had 5 nights at the site in a motorhome. Very spacious and quiet. Had some heavy rain but the grass drained very quickly and we had no trouble driving off at the end of our stay. We walked to Appledore and Bideford which are both nice. The site adjoins Northam Burrows and a vast beach when the tide is out which is another easy and attractive walk. Walked to Westward Ho! which was less attractive but worth doing. Took the 21A bus from Appledore to Barnstaple and the 21C open top bus from Barnstaple to Croyde for a good day out. Had we taken the 21 from Westward Ho! we could have gone to Ilfracombe. Took a 20 min cycle ride into Bideford and over the Long Bridge returning by ferry from Instow after cycling most of the excellent Tarka Trail. Nearest large supermarkets (Morrisons and Aldi) in Bideford.
A beautiful, quiet, clean & tidy little camp site.
A beautiful, quiet, clean & tidy little camp site. No toilets or showers but it really doesn’t need it. Big pitches, clean Chemical toilet emptying & all the recycling bins. An easy walk into Appledore, Westward Ho & the beach front area. We will definitely go again.
Fabulous Site
Love this site, large pitches. Adult only, very peaceful. Easy walking distance to Northam Burrows, great walks and beaches.
Royal North Devon Golf Club only 5 minutes away.
Jason and Marie lovely hosts. If you want peace and quite with great views it's the place to come.
Appledore within walking distance, with lots of pubs and fantastic fish and chips.
