Wonderful 10 day stay! Warmly welcomed, peaceful site!
After a long journey from the North Midlands, it was nice to arrive at Rockbeare for a ten night stay! Nice and peaceful on site, warmly welcomed and pointed out to a good spot to set up! Big pitches, plenty of space, electric hookup and water available!
In all honesty the toilet and shower facilities are a little tired but we’re not complaining at all, as they’re adequate, they're always very clean and we had no problems while we were there! There’s a little noise as expected from the local building site which is not too close but they were not too early or too late on site! There’s some road noise but not loads of it p, of course we then added to that noise as we ourselves drove around the area!
Easy to get out and about from this site! There are lots of places to visit within easy reach, Exeter, the coast, lovely little towns and villages, also plenty of National Trust properties!
We would be more than happy to book again, if we come back to this lovely spot in Devon!
