Well signposted site with hookup and water on pitch. For such a large field the pitches were very close in one corner. Not much privacy. Woken each day by noisey yappy dogs at nearby property and doors opening and closing by nearby campers. No toilets or showers as stated. Great walks and cycle rides nearby. Lovely welcome from owner but overall not for us.

I'm sorry that you didn't enjoy your stay with us.

It doesn't say we have toilets or showers on the club site, so I don't understand this.

As for the large field and being in a corner. We have created pitches as per the club's recommendations for fire barriers between units. The cost to have 5 pitches spread out over the field would be astronomical and wouldn't be cost affective to run a CL. It has already cost us tens of thousands to do what we have already. We are putting in more hardstanding and a motorhome grey waste drop point in October to enhance facilities. We feel this site has lots of amenities that other site don't offer.

We live next to a working farm as stated on the club site information, and noises that come with this is out of our control.

I'm glad you enjoyed the surrounding footpaths/cycle paths.
