What A Lovely Site This Is!

This site is a real jewel. This is the type of site that we love to visit. It's level, has EHU & is well placed for visiting various places, & the price per night is spot on too. Gill the owner is a lovely lady who makes you feel welcome immediately. Can't fault anything. Just love it & hope to be back in the future

A Wonderful CL and Warm Welsh Welcome

Booking this CL was easy by email, prompt replies and booking confirmation emailed. The CL is a level grass field with easy access. Plenty of space and views of the horses in the field. Facilities very good, clean and tidy, toilet available in the farm yard if required, also small information hut. Warm welcome from Gill who is around most days for a chat. Wildlife a plenty saw Red Kites, Buzzards, rabbits and bats in the evening. The lanes are fairly quiet and ok for dog walks. The village is a short, easy 5 minute walk away, dog friendly pub, and a couple of shops and bus stops. New Quay is lovely and we had sightings Dolphins in the harbour. ☺ We visited Bwlch Nant Yr Arian visitor centre to see the Red Kites being fed, wonderful. Can recommend a visit to the Welsh Wildlife Centre near Cardigan and NT Llanerchaeron. Also try The Moody Cow Farm Shop on the way to Aberaeron. This a lovely CL, one we hope to return to as still lots left to do.

Best CL near New Quay

We have stayed twice now and thoroughly enjoyed it both times. It is close to New Quay within a 5 min drive. There are farm animals in the adjacent fields. Loads of places to walk your dog. Gillian is very helpful and friendly. The pub in the village is within walking distance (about 300 mts and is good for food and drink of course. There are a couple of very good shops in the village. The one which looks like a tin shack is very good for fresh fruit, veg and bakery items. New Quay is we think one of the prettiest places in Wales. The harbour is beautiful (picture postcard) Lovely shops in New Quay and great boat trips.

A gem of a CL. Everything Cls stand for. Contacted owners by e mail. Quick response and booked. Price as per web site. Good hard grass pitches, EHU and WC. All facilities easily available. Pub, shop and Bus stop within 270 yds. Told to pitch and a owner will call. Well labled pitches. If you want peace, easy access to beach hot spot this will fit the bill.

Convenient New Quay stay & golf!

Convenient site in quiet field. Helpful information hut next to farmyard toilet. Best to use the convenient bus route as New Quay not friendly to Motor Homes. Highly recommend golf at super hidden away 9 hole golf club - Cwmrhydneuadd Golf Club where we were made most welcome!!

Great New Quay stop over

We booked this CL for a weekend away from the Midlands for our Wedding Aniversary.... The location was excellent for us to get a short bus ride into New Quay, the bus stopped in the village a matter of 2-3mins walk.. The Ground was soaked when we arrived early is on the FRIDAY Morning, it had been raining heavily for two days so this was not a surprise but the ground was in good condition we pulled on with our small unit with ease. (Front Wheel Drive) we found that the signage was a little confusing tied in with the position of the already pitched vans but the land owner put us right.. No showers, no bars and no activities on site just peace and quiet, exactly what we ordered.. The water was good quality and the disposal area also had a tap. TV signal was good on Free view but our O2 mobiles as ever in the sticks not very good, but our EE box worked reasonable... Whilst a short stay we did get to visit Aberystwyth FRIDAY Afternoon and got the bus into New Quay for the SATURDAY and the weather was kind that day too.. All in all recommended to anyone who wants a very nice base to visit this very nice area of our country

Lovely site

Just returned from a weeks break, a lovely site. Level field overlooking sheep and lambs. Easy access and plenty of room on site. Bins were emptied every day, even if not full! Nearby pub does lovely food and welcomes dogs, and the fish and chip van visits at 8pm on a Thursday (in the shop car park), and does lovely fish and chips. Nearby New Quay is gorgeous, spent hours looking out to sea to spot the elusive dolphins! Would definitely visit again.

A little gem

A fantastic CL that has lots going for it. The site itself is very well maintained and overlooks a sheep field. There are a couple of little shops in the village for essential supplies, the pub at the end of the road is good value, serves good food and is dog friendly (and will even do takeaways) and there is a convenient bus service into New Quay if you don't want to drive (parking isn't expensive but apparently gets full quickly in peak season) Hadn't visited New Quay before and went to see the dolphins, who didn't disappoint, coming quite close to the harbour wall at high tide in pursuit of fish. The Lime crab near the harbour does a very nice fish and chips and sitting eating them while watching the dolphins playing and the sun going down over the sea was one of the highlights of the holiday. The coast path around here isn't quite as spectacular as Pembrokeshire but is still very nice and you can use the Cardi Bach (local minibus service) from New Quay to little villages up or down the coast, then walk back to the starting point.
