Having never been to a CL site before, we were a little dubious about what we'd find. However it turned out to be just perfect. A lovely, quiet village with a shop and a Chinese takeaway just opposite the entrance and another shop just down the road. The site is slightly undulating, but nothing to be concerned about, with fresh water and the toilet disposal within 20 yards maximum. We didn't see Sally, the owner, but we found some chicken eggs outside our door one morning. A lovely thoughtful gesture. Thank you to her. The site is perfectly situated to visit places of interest such as Sutton Hoo, Shotley, Pin Mill, Felixstowe and many others. If visiting that part of the country, if certainly recommend a stay at this lovely site.
