Thanks Jane and Bunny

Our first visit to Pyewell Farm, hopefully not the last. We were made very welcome by Jane and the family and introduced to Henry (the farm dog). The site is handy for many local attractions, but also peaceful and with beautiful views and sunsets. We had our fair share of bad weather, gale force winds and torrential rain, but the site is well drained and remained largely dry. The lakes are beautiful and even if you're not into fishing, Jane will let you have a lovely walk around. Hope to visit again, thank you both.

A lovely site run by a wonderful couple

This is one of the best CL sites we have stayed at and Jayne is a joy, she is so welcoming and nothing is a bother. She always has time for the campers and will chat away, Henry the farm dog is also great for a warm welcome. We will be returning here for many years to come The Browns

excellent week

we recently stayed here for a week and enjoyed a fabulous stay. warm welcome as previously stated. very handy for many places whilst still being peaceful and tranquil. Fishing was about 800yds from the cl field and was very good. Site is well maintained and the owners take genuine pride in the site and surroundings. there were 5 vans when we were there but plenty of room.

Nice site, underutiliused

We spent a week on this site at the start of August with a maximum of only 3 vans on the site. I was concerned about the length of the grass on arrival, but this was cut in 24 hours. Nice pitches, well maintained with some effort made to making the site more than just a grass field. Good recycling facilities, a welcome pack and a warm welcome all present. This part of Devon has some good walking around and attractions within 20-30 minutes. The access to the site is on 3 miles of smaller roads, but the traffic is light and access not over difficult. I think this is an ideal CL, and cannot understand while it was not fully booked - give it a try

Just as a CL should be.

A very pleasant site in a superb location for quiet countryside and views.  Plenty of space on well maintained site with plenty of choice for siting van. Mrs Steer made us very welcome and provided a full file of local attractions/advertisements.  Very handy for RHS Rosemoor and for touring N. Devon coast.

Beautifully kept and welcoming

When we booked up the owner was so helpful with the directions and upon arrival the site was clean, mowed and our pitch awaiting. This is an excellent base to explore the area, not only the coast but also many gardens and the RHS Rosemoor at Torrington. The site has plenty of space between outfits and clean "facilities"; one benefit is that the sun seems to shine over the field all day - great for the evening BBQ not in shadow. It also looks out to hills and is very well looked after and we shall be returning.

Tranquill site

On arrival Mrs Steer warmley welcomed us.The site is clean and virtually flat. A good base if you want to tour. There are 3 fishing lakes in beautiful surroundings.Mrs Steer would not take any money from us until the day we left even for the fishing as I only fished 4 days out of the 7 days we were there she took my word for it and only charged me for 4 days. She put her trust in us so we were honest with her.I would recomend this site 100%.
