From the first contact to the end, this was a perfect stay. Jo was a treasure to deal with and contact was brilliant. Our pitch was allocated, so that takes the stress away from wondering. We were given the hardstanding (pitch 3) which was great for our large motorhome. Because its a small site (3 units) its very peaceful. The views are astounding.. across open fields to Whitby Abbey clearly visible from all pitches. The cleveland coastal path is easily accessible and the owners are happy to explain the best footpaths. We walked in both directions, to Whitby and towards Robin Hoods Bay ( although we didnt actually make it all the way to Robin Hoods Bay). Of course sunny weather makes a big difference, and we were very lucky. Finding the ‘monks trod’ to the Abbey was a treat .. thankyou Jo for explaining. Price includes 10 units of electricity per day, and we didnt need to use any extra. The waste areas were spotless. All in all a gem of a CL. We ate our Whitby fish and chips at the Fishermans Wife. A takeaway on their terrace. They were fabulous !
