Greg, Louise and Harvey are perfect hosts, being warm, friendly and helpful. The location on the Devon/Cornwall border makes it the ideal base for touring the area with Lanhydrock, Cotehele, Saltram and Anthony House NT properties are a short drive away. The glorious North Devon/Cornwall coast is only 30 minutes away. Each large spacious hard standing pitch has 16 amp electricity and water supply, the space between pitches allows you to site your unit as you prefer. The "Hut" houses the immaculate shower room/toilet. Poole farm combines peace and tranquillity with first class facilities, all you could wish for in a CL. If you have non-caravanning friends the B & B compliments the site perfectly. Poole farm thoroughly deserved its CL of the year and sets the standard for all the others to aspire to. Launceston is only 10 minutes away with shops, supermarkets and plenty of places to eat and drink (Tesco has a Costa Coffee), if you want a pub with character then try the Eliot Arms. The only problem was our 12 nights was too short.
