From the moment we arrived, it was quite evident why this CL had been voted 'CL of the year'. Situated along a quiet lane in rolling countryside with the River Tamar not far away. This is a beautifully maintained CL with large, level hard standing pitches - something we were particularly grateful for as the weather was not brilliant during our stay. The pitch fee includes 10 units of electricity per night - after that it is charged at 23p per unit - a pricing structure that we thought to be very fair and with the increase in energy costs, a model that I think other CL owners will follow. Great dog walk on the site but there is also plenty of walking straight from the CL along quiet lanes. The best bit about this site must be the owners - Greg and Louise - who go out of their way to ensure that your stay with them is enjoyable. My only recommendation would be to turn the bathroom scales back about ten pounds before arriving!!! Cream teas, evening meals with delicious puddings, Sunday lunches and full English breakfasts are all available - fabulously prepared by Louise and delivered to your pitch - all highly recommended (the diet starts tomorrow).
