A Short but Lovely Stay
We stayed for just one night, not having been out and about in our camper for a while due to something called covid. What a fantastic, peaceful and well-maintained site this is! We were greeted by Greg on our arrival who told us everything we needed to know and handed us a mightily impressive Welcome Pack, which even included a biscuit for our dog (which was gone in seconds once he got hold of it). Louise later introduced herself, it was lovely to meet both of the site owners. The site itself is quiet and has a stream running through it and is adjacent to the river Tamar both of which provide a relaxing ambience. The dog walk area was appreciated by our dog, Jimmy, and we explored one or two lanes outside the site. The site provides a multitude of catering options, and we were glad to have taken advantage of the full English breakfast before we left – it was plentiful and delicious. It was also delivered to us! Our neighbouring guests told us they had the breakfast and were having the Sunday lunch too – where would they find the room?!
All in all, this was a relaxing and enjoyable quick break away for us and we definitely plan to return for longer in the new year. The only downside was the weather which was a bit damp and miserable at times, but I guess the site owners can’t control everything! To summarise – highly recommended and very impressive.
