Reluctant to share this CL

We have recently returned from Poole Farm and had the most relaxing time with our friends. We endeavour to visit this CL every year and are continually surprised to find that Lou and Greg find new things to offers to make our stay even more enjoyable. Lou and Greg are the perfect hosts in so many ways. Arriving is always a pleasure as the site is perfectly maintained and the chances are that you will be greeted by the offer of a warm drink and scone or cake. Lou is an excellent chef and we have enjoyed many wonderful breakfasts delivered to or Cavan so hot that the plates come with a waning, handle with care. This year, as well as the Sunday Roast on offer, you can now order an evening meal any day of the week from an extensive menu, again delivered directly to your outfit. What a wonderful treat we had. The site facilities, which are always kept clean, are a massive bonus as are electricity and water which are available on each pitch. Huge thanks to Lou and Greg we look forward to seeing you next year. Trevor and Sue.

Without doubt - The best CL

Have just returned from Poole Farm and had the most relaxing time. Greg and Lou strive for perfection and achieve it in so many ways. The site is always perfectly manicured and both Lou and Greg treat you like you are good friends, in a genuine way. They will do anything for you and you are very lucky in visiting a site that has a first class chef as the owner. You won’t find better facilities with a well equipped facilities hut. This is always kept clean and it’s just like being at home. We had Lous Sunday roast and pudding which was fabulous. We also thoroughly enjoyed the delicious cake and cream tea which was delivered to the van. Thank you both very much - we most definitely look forward to seeing you next year. Mike and Jill Hills

Another fabulous time

Yet again another wonderful time at Poole Farm. Welcomed as part of the friends, nothing too much trouble and if need help with a problem they will do their best to help. Very well kept site, clean and COVID friendly. Clean and hygienic shower room and toilet ( the hut) . Quite and lovely views , just what we needed . Cannot recommended this site enough, been here three time and just wish it was closer, we would come here more. Not forgetting all the wonderful food and the new idea of a Roast of your choice brought to your caravan on a Sunday. A meal of exceptional value and marvellous quality, better than any restaurant we’ve had . A lovely C L with Louise, Gregg, Harvey and not forgetting Rufus the beautiful spaniel 🐾

The best CL we have ever used! Run by experienced caravanners, for caravanners and motorhomes.

This site is simply unique - in 25years of caravanning, we have never found anywhere to match this one. Throughout our stay we were treated as revered and valued guests (rather than just paying campers as we have been elsewhere on some sites). There was a great welcome with complimentary Cornish Cream Teas on our first arrival, cooked breakfasts and Sunday evening roast dinners if you want, and all the help and advice one could need. Louise and Greg have spent a great deal of time and money in enhancing the site to reach its present immaculate standard and a lot of careful thought has been applied in the way it is laid out. Even the spacious dog walk is regularly mowed and set out to provide enjoyment for our 4-legged friends! 'The Hut' provides an information room as well as spotless toilet and shower facilities for all to use (at no extra cost!) with a great selection of home-made jams and chutneys available to purchase in the information area. For the 2021 fee it is simply amazing what is on offer here, and well worth your visit. Try it and see if you agree...!

The very best!

As stated previously Poole Farm CL is second to none in every respect. Greg and Louise are the perfect hosts and do their utmost to ensure everyone has an enjoyable experience. This immaculate site is just the perfect place to relax and recuperate, yet close enough to visit the many attractions in the Devon/ Cornwall border area. The complimentary cream tea is a really special touch which reflects their eye to business , and the Sunday Roast was superb! We cannot rate this CL highly enough and look forward to our next visit.

The Best CL

Poole Farm CL is our number one favourite site. The facilities are spotless and the grounds and dog area beautifully maintained. This quiet site is ideal for unwinding and just enjoying the birdsong from your caravan . The location is ideal for visiting the north Devon coast and various national trust properties . The owners Greg and Louise make your stay a trip to remember. Louise offers cooked Sunday roasts and cooked breakfasts during your stay which were really fantastic. During our visit we also received complimentary cakes, cream teas and on hot days ice creams. We can only echo all the other reviews that have been posted , it really is a little gem

The best site ever!

We stayed here for a week in June, and can honestly say it's the best site we've ever visited. Starting with the warm welcome and cuppa, right down to the care and attention paid by the owners throughout our stay, it was perfect. We ordered a Sunday roast for the day we arrived, and this was delivered to our campervan, and was absolutely marvellous. We also ordered pizzas and a breakfast during our stay and the food is wonderful, home cooked expertly by Louise. The site is kept immaculate with covid restrictions strictly adhered to so everyone is safe. There is a lovely washroom called "The Hut" where you can have a shower and a wash, and use the loo. Again, all kept spotless. The only downside of the location we found (and this is our personal view and not any fault of the owners). We did find it a hair-raising journey along single lane roads to get to the main road. Very often the view was restricted by overgrowth at the roadside and bends in the road. Also, there is a bit of traffic noise at the back, where the road runs close to the site near a narrow bridge, and you get tractors, lorries and cars, but nothing too bad. All in all, we had a lovely holiday here, thank you Greg, Louse and Harvery for your hard work and helpfulness.
