Gorgeous site

Directions to site spot on. Steady approach with no issues. Walled site with fabulous views. Hosts very friendly and helpul. Plently if wood to help level the van . Local pheasants were entertaining. Lovely well kept site with the most immaculate toilet ive ever seen. Easy to get to various places by the sea. An exceptional site, especially when the weather is glorious. Thank you, your site is one of the best.

Little heaven

Fantastic little CL site stayed four nights. Owners very friendly from arriving to leaving the site. Everything about the site as been said in other reviews left by other campers. Nothing to complain about this little gem of a site, the views around the site are fantastic and so peaceful to relax in. Will be visiting again for longer than four days next time.

A little gem

Some fairly narrow roads leading up from Abergele, but plenty of passing places. A beautiful little site with an outstanding view across the valley. Pity about the rain, but can't blame the very friendly owners for that! Site is beautifully kept with good facilities. Thanks for a very pleasant stay.

Very welcoming site

Yes, it's uphill to reach the site and yes, the site slopes but it is worth it. There is an abundance of wooden blocks available to get level and we had no problem with our awning. The grass was immaculately cut and all facilities are to hand. John and Lyn were excellent hosts and the views from the site take some beating. Abergele, Colwyn Bay and Llandudno are all within a very short distance from the site. I don't often leave reviews but felt that this site really deserved one.

Shhhhhhhh, I want this to be a secret!!

There are great CL's and we have stayed on lots. But every now and then you find heaven. We followed the info to the site and started to sweat a bit, but just hang on and you will see the club cl sign on your right. Straight run onto the site through the entrance without any bother but the amazement of the view. There is some slope but John kindly leaves a collection of wood blocks for your use but don't be put off its not a crazy slope. All facilities are to hand and near to but far enough away, if you want access to the toilet facilities I don't think you will have found better. The owners were so lovely that you wanted to be their friends!! I wont bore you with places of interest but for those who need to know there's a Tesco close at hand. We will be back next year without a doubt.

Even more perfect

After a lovely stay in April we decided to stay again in May/June. Our stay was even better, with great weather and lovely surroundings.John and Liz made us feel very welcome and made our stay perfect. We were entertained by a limping Pheasant and dive bombed by Swallows , we are now planning our next visit. Thank you for everything.

An Excellent CL!

We stayed for six nights in March and found this CL very accessible and well placed for the places we wanted to get to in and around the Conway Valley.

The site was immaculate, with a spotless toilet / information hut and very friendly owners.

No problems with TV and Vodafone mobile reception and a 10A power supply.

Abergele was only a few minutes away with a local shops and a large Tesco for supplies. About 5 miles away we tried the Black Lion for a meal and were not disappointed.

A CL to recommend for sure!

A Perfect C.L.

Stayed for only 4 nights as arranged with the owner Mr. Jones , wish we could have stayed more. Mr. Jones met us with a warm welcome ,an offer of a cup of tea and an offer to help us set up. The site is well manicured grass with a superb view over the valley.Toilet and facilities were spotless and obviously well cared for. If Mr. Jones will have us , we will be back.

Peaceful beautiful site!

A peaceful site with beautiful views of surrounding countryside. Spotlessly clean facilities - toilet and wash hand basin- and very well maintained site. A great base for the area; easy to get anywhere from here as close to A55. We greatly enjoyed our week here and didn't want to go home!
