Great stay

Lovely hosts, took us to collect our hire car 30 mins drive away and also offered to collect takeaway from nearest village. Best site toilets ever been in and I have been in a few. Site views ace and very peaceful. Super. First time holidaying in wales, fabulous, will be back.

Superb

Beautiful site with stunning views, slightly sloping but lots of blocks and ramps kindly provided, very clean on site toilet and disposal point, don't be of by the narrow approach rd there are passing places and all the time we used the roads to the site never met another vehicle, highly recommended

We stayed here for a week in August. This is a lovely well kept site with beautiful views. The toilet is very clean and is cleaned daily. The grass was mown regularly. Leveling blocks provided. Lynne and John very welcoming. Site very peaceful. We will be returning to this gem of a site.

Another great welcome

Just returned from another great stay at this fabulous C.L. John and Lynn made us feel welcome again and we have nothing but admiration for the site ,the facilities and especially the effort that the hosts have put into presenting a magnificent location even in these difficult times. Thank You.

Wow

Well that is the word that comes to mind when you arrive at this little gem of a site.WOW. John and his wife are the most welcoming of hosts ( even during this current pandemic ) It was our first time out with our caravan, so a lot to learn and see. On arrival at this CL we firstly noticed the stunning view from the site and the fantastic condition of the well tended grass pitch and facilities . We had a mishap pitching up ( my fault ) but no problem at all as the owner John came straight over to us with tools to hand and within minutes the mishap was over, ( thank you again John ) Other reviews have noted the steep arrival to the location. Don't worry one bit it's very straight forward and not at all an issue. Others have noted that the site is on a slight slope. Once again don't worry one iota , no problem pitching/ levelling as John the owner has provided concrete sets on each pitch that you pull onto so your van is nice and level straight away. Then he's provided all the ' wooden sets' to place under jockey wheel and steadies to make front back levelling easy. It truly is a most wonderful CL with fantastic owners, we had a wonderful 6 nights here, would have liked to have had 60 .Peaceful and charming. Can't wait to return asap. John c

Welsh Diamond

We were met by Lyn within minutes of arrival and had everything explained. This was the first week after reopening and have to say their preparations were superb. Hand sanitizer was readily available across the site. The view is stunning, overlooking a beautiful valley. Lyn and John were very easy to get along with and always had time to chat.

Pete & Cynthia from Downunder

we had a two night stay with John and Lyn, we had been touring UK for seven weeks and they were by far the most welcoming and friendly couple we met throughout our overall stay in UK John assisted in helping me replace my drivers side mirror from our motorhome. My apologise for taking so long to give the review. Thank you John and Lyn wish we could have spent more time with you both. Peter and Cynthia ( Cynthia was the one who introduced you to one of your caravan guests)

Amazing!

The other reviews have really said it all and they are truly correct. John greeted us within a few minutes of our arrival, checked we were OK and offered help pitching up on the slope using the blocks provided. The views from the site are breathtaking even in the rain! across the valley to the fields beyond and the other way over to Snowdon. The site and facilities are immaculate and John & Lynne were so helpful and friendly it felt like being with family (helped also by the others on the site at the time). Excellent for touring or just sitting and relaxing and enjoying the scenery with no noise whatsoever. The waste and recycling bins are brilliant and included a dog waste bin. (Our golden retriever says thank you so much.) Just a word of warning if you come from Angelsey DO NOT FOLLOW THE SAT NAV. It may bring you off the A55 at the first LLandulas turning and then right just after the Valentine Inn. This is a very steep narrow track which involved a lot of 1st gear work. When we were chatting to John he laughed and showed us where we should have come in. Head for Abergele and turn at the sign for the golf club and follow the road up to the site, so much easier! We most definitely will return and hopefully for more than just 5 days. Thank you so much we had a wonderful time.

A beautiful site

We have just spent two weeks on this wonderful site. The approach from the main road is a little challenging but we arrived there without a problem. The view is simply spectacular. The grass is well manicured and each pitch has concrete sideways levelling. The front requires levelling blocks which are available in abundance, including ramps for motorhomes. The toilet is small, but perfectly formed and always spotlessly clean and, in addition to the necessary toiletries, there is a deal of very useful up-to-date tourist information. The recycling facilities are excellent and are cleared daily. In addition to all this, and probably more appreciated than any of it, our two-week break was made most enjoyable by the hosts, Lynn and John, who could not be kinder or more caring for their guests. It would be fair to say that making their acquaintance was one of the highlights of our trip to North Wales and we cannot thank them enough for their help and genuine friendliness and hope to see them again someday. In short, beautiful countryside, beautiful site, beautifully run, marvellous hosts. What more can one ask for?
