Delightful cl

Spent two weeks on this site using it as a base to visit friends and family in the West Yorkshire area. Considering its proximity to Bradford and Halifax, its rural appearance is something of a surprise. Beautiful views across the Pennines, super local villages which are walkable with good food pubs to give sustenance. Nice tidy site with very clean wc, each pitch with water, electric and grey water drain, and very friendly owners. We shall definately return.

First time visitors

This was our first time at this site, and for a CL it is excellent. Only two points we would like to make, and they are 1 The CL sign is past the inclined driveway and is so easy to miss 2 As mentioned by others the drive past the farm house is very very narrow. That said no levelling blockers required, you have your own water tap, and electrics. and a spotless toilet for all to use. Excellent open views, and a friendly welcome, We would recommend this site to you all.

Lovely site will use again.

We stayed on the CL over the May Day bank holiday, the site was not full which I think is more down to its situation than quality. We had wanted to stay closer to Hebden Bridge for easy access to walking country but please do not discount this site as the walking in the local area is equally as stunning. The site itself has level serviced pitches which is an added bonus, some pitches are south facing so get sun all day and the views are spectacular. The toilet is very clean and fully stocked with loo rolls and hand dryer. The owners were very friendly and helpful, the only reason I have given the "ease of arrival/welcome" four stars is because the entrance is slightly narrow and needs careful negotiation, not a problem for us but larger outfits need to be aware. Please note directions to the site have been missed out of the handbook so make sure you take note from the website beforehand.
