Superb site

We have stayed on this site many times and for us it is ideal. Richard and Barbara are very friendly and helpful and keep the site and it’s toilet facility very clean. It’s a shame that some visitors can’t keep it that way, not so difficult to do! Thank you R & B, we’ll back again and again 👌

Superb site worth of an award

What a gem of a site, views from site. Beautiful farm setting but close to major towns should the need arise. Short grass, level pitches with water and grey waste at every one. With recycle, elsan and a toilet close by the farm Slight slope to top pitches but ground is firm and I would not expect any issues when wet. Essential to follow route guide, google earth it and you will see why… Richard is on hand to guide you onto the site having called him 10min before arrival. Plenty of walks without having to drive off the site, a visit to the local waterfall is recommended.

Another great stay

Just completed a weekend at the farm. As ever the site is beautifully kept and the facilities are great. A tap and drain for each pitch is nice to have and the toilet is kept immaculately clean and a welcome bonus. Richard and Barbara are very good hosts with a wealth of local info. This is our first time with a larger caravan and we managed ok. The levelling blocks are very useful for side to side, you still need to level front to back with the jockey wheel. We are planning to go back again in September. Many smiley faces.

Great site

We forgot to review this from May 2021...sorry about that. Great site, have stayed here before. We have already booked up for the summer in 2022. Plenty of space between pitches and each pitch has levelled pads to plant your caravan wheels on, making setting up easier (also quite useful for our campervan). Each pitch has fresh water and drainage. Very clean Elsan and rubbish area. The toilet was, as ever, immaculately clean. You must approach Coley Road from the north, either coming up from Hipperholme and turning back on yourself at the Halifax Road roundabout or from east or west along the Halifax Road. Under no circumstances try it from the south end of Coley Road as you will never make the turns up to and in to the site. Coming from the north is a piece or cake even if it adds a couple of minutes to your journey.

Lovely site

A lovely site and with a warm welcome too! Pitches are spacious with the added bonus of individual water supply and drainage. There is one spotless communal loo and good recycling facilities. It is a convenient base for visiting nearby Hebden Bridge, Halifax etc but still retains that "away from it all" ambience. Couldn't ask for more :-)

A warm welcome

We were advised to ring shortly before our arrival. Richard gave us a warm welcome and directed us to our pitch. During our stay nothing was too much trouble, whether it was a flagstone for our BBQ or local information. The toilets were immaculate and there is a drinking water tap and drain for each pitch as well as levelling stones. There are lovely views from the site we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Excellent CL - truly one of the best

This is one of the very best CLs we have visited - and there are some fantastic ones out there! From the phone call to book onwards the owners were so welcoming, friendly and positive. The site is very attractive, with great views, next to the beautiful farmhouse. The pitches are well situated and each has its own services - waste, drinking water and hook up. And a real treat for motorhomers is the ability to ditch the waste water by driving over the drain. Easier than some club sites! A real treat and we hope to be back.

Great site

We only stayed over for one night mid week, but will definitely be back. The site is in a lovely scenic and convenient location, the WC is spotless, and the owners go out of their way to be welcoming and helpful. We felt relaxed as soon as we arrived. Great value and worth every penny. We mainly use CLs and it's sites like this that keep us renewing our membership.

Quiet, convenient location

We stayed one night here last week on our way home from further north. It was a very good find with an exceptionally clean toilet/wash basin! The views are extensive and there are plenty of footpaths from the site. There are 2 pubs serving food within walking distance. We went to the 'Brown Horse'about 10 mins walk away. The food was excellent and it has a garden- all very Covid compliant. There are many places to visit in the area- we went to Shibden Hall and Park which are nearby and featured in the TV series 'Gentleman Jack'.
