A bit too basic for the 21st century
The location of this site is good for Hever Castle.
Access is through a field gate off a narrow road, the entrance is rutted and care is needed not to bottom your van.
We appreciated the large field but it's covered in sheep muck. The water tap is next to a animal drinking trough which is difficult to access unless you don't mind treading in sheep muck.
The Chemical disposal point is under a black tub, it's basically a hole in the ground that would have overflowed had I emptied our toilet.
While the price of $10 is reasonable this site needs improvement, we were glad we only needed to stay the one night.
Things could be improved by temporary fencing keeping the sheep off the camping area, just a basic chemical disposal point and a fresh water tap away from the sheep, bit of leveling of entrance and this site would be wonderful. I would expect most people would be happy to pay $15 a night.
