Very Charming Site
Firstly I must say the photograph does not do this site justice. We have visited many CL sites and this one is up there amongst the best we have seen. Getting to the site is straight forward with a very tight turn into the site. Perfectly manageable, our caravan is 7m. You are greeted with a fabulous site on a slope but all of the pitches are level. The site has quite a few small apple trees and a fruit garden in the middle all adding to the attraction. Bird watching was fascinating, seeing some birds that I have not seen for years.
The owners are very helpful, especially getting out which I will come back to. We spent 2 weeks here and there were plenty of places to visit. We took our cycles but as casual cyclists found the hills too much. The Old Tram Road is about 1 1/2 miles long and flat with a nice pub at the end that serves the normal pub food.
Getting off the site would be tricky but the owner gives a comprehensive instruction on how to approach the exit. Follow his instruction and you will get out first time.
Well done to Mr & Mrs Humby on a great site.
