Just returned from a wonderful stay at Penpol Farmhouse CL. The owner offers a really warm welcome and a fond farewell. We were lucky enough to pick our own spot. There are lovely walks and sights to see especially the Old tram walk into the Point and Deveron. It is almost flat throughout and passes some wonderful scenery. The site is tastefully terraced with fairly level pitches, your own picnic bench, electric hook up and own bin. Another really nice detail was a 40m hose pipe to save the back and forth to the tap. We were amongst an orchard with lots of lovely old trees which was a bonus in the hot weather. This is definitely one of the top CL sites we have stayed at .The approach to the site road is typically Cornish but we have an 8.5m motorhome and there are passing places that we were able to use when required. As per previous reviews the pictures on the Club site does not do it justice
