Superb Site and Owner

John's site must be one of the best CL sites in the country, huge area to site your unit on with grass so immaculate it would not be out of place in your own garden. If peace and tranquillity is your main criteria this is the site for you, coupled with a modern WC dump point and numerous water taps. Walking distance to Moreton in Marsh along with numerous other peaceful and scenic walking routes, even without leaving the site, mean there is always something to utilise your time. John is a very friendly affable chap whose welcoming wave and smile makes you feel instantly at home, he is also extremely easy to converse with so much so that you might find that you have left your better half for an excessive time.

Choices Galore at Pebbly Barn Farm

Our stay on this lovely new CL has been one of the best we have ever had, in 37 years of touring. Booking via email was easy and quick, a warm welcome when we arrived, and we were simply delighted with our choice to use as a base for touring gardens in Cotswolds. The pitching area is a huge, closely mown paddock, anywhere along the railed area, or if preferred, on the big hardstanding area, over the rails. We stayed on the grass, which despite some very heavy rainstorms, stayed very firm, no problems at all under wheel. Electric hook up is available if required, (£3 per night extra for our stay) simply ask and you will be sorted. There are two water points, a modern, very easy to use chemical disposal point, recycling area nearby. Big gates and hardstanding area make getting onto Site very easy. The Site is carefully landscaped, newish plantings but will mature beautifully, with views of Cotswold hills in distance. Good dog walk on the Site, down to River Evenlode. Very quiet and peaceful, with birds and deer around. Only a mile from Moreton in Marsh and the Fosse Way, so very easy to get around to some great places like NT properties, Chedworth Roman Villa, and lots of other gorgeous Cotswold villages and towns. M-in-M has a big Coop and an Aldi, we got cheap fuel at garage in Bourton on the Hill. Easy walk or cycle into Moreton, and local lanes are great for cycling. (Beware of busy roads though on other routes) This wonderful CL is all about choice. Hardstanding or grass, with or without hook up, not a pitching peg in sight, just a huge choice of where and how you want to pitch up. Great for a long stay, but ideal for an overnight stop as well being just off the Fosse Way.A very welcome addition to the CL network. And yes, we have booked another stay😁

Excellent site

A gem of a site, very large, great scenery, beautifully kept. Owner John very friendly and helpful. Could not recommend this site high enough. Great location for exploring the Cotswolds. Would definitely return if in that area again.

Excellent!

I share the positive comments of other reviewers. Spacious area for level grass pitches but hard standing area available. Electricity available on request. Facilities are apparently recently installed (eg proper WC disposal, not an old lavvy in a muddy field!). TV good, 4G v. Good (EE), phenomenal (Three). Owner very helpful and friendly - we were late leaving because we got chatting! Will definitely be back

Such a really lovely CL

Two nights in a motorhome in July 2021. Such a generous fairly flat field in a marvellous peaceful interesting area. Very warm welcome from John and so much space dedicated to the CL. We had little use of facilities so didn't need anything provided. Great area for walking and cycling and easy quiet access to Moreton in Marsh.

Peaceful, relaxing stay

We received a warm welcome from John on our arrival. The site is extremely well kept and provides plenty of pitch choices. There are beautiful views of the Cotswolds from the site and the walk across the fields into Moreton in Marsh is an easy one. We encountered cows in a couple of the fields accompanied by a bull so if you have a dog it might be advisable to take the road option. We can definitely recommend the cream tea served up at Charlotte’s Tea Shop as we sampled it twice on our three night visit! Thank you John for a relaxing few days. Steve and Doreen

A fantastic CL

This CL deserves the highest of reviews. The site is excellent - well laid out with hardstanding or grass, superb spotless facilities and as peaceful as you could ever wish for. Immaculately set in spacious grounds, well maintained and the owner both welcoming and helpful. The sort of CL you highlight in the book as one of the best and to be returned to.

Site owner, John Beswick could not do enough for us!

We used this site back in early October 2020 before the last lock down and what a beautiful tranquil place it is and offers easy access to the town of Moreton -in- Marsh and much of the Cotswolds. We had a fault on our power cable we did not know about which burnt out is power socket we were using and left us without power. John came straight round found the fault was ours and repaired our plug wiring so it would work again and would not take any money to replace his damaged socke! he is so kind and helpful that we would not hesitate in recommending him to everyone and using his site again if we are ever in the area.
