Just got back from a fantastic weekend at Pear Tree House. The site is surrounded by the most beautiful countryside and the site itself is immaculately kept . We stayed here as a base to visit flamingo land and Bridlington , both of which were about 20/25 mins drive. We were greeted with a very friendly welcome on our arrival and helped onto our pitch which was great as it was getting dark and was pouring with rain . The shower / toilet facilities were great, nice and clean in a porta cabin with a good powerful shower (50p) . Our 3 children had a great time playing outside ( hope we didn't disturb anyone!) My brother and his family stayed in one of the holiday cottages on site which was also lovely , and great that we could holiday together . All in all the best CL site we have stayed on and a bargain at £13 a night. Would love to go again sometime ! Thanks for a great stay.
Peaceful
All are hard standing pitches, and slightly sloping. Beautifully kept site and a very helpful couple running it. Dog walking is very limited from the site, but there are two quiet lanes close by. Ideal base for exploring. Would return again.

This is a lovely CL.
This is a lovely CL with accommodating hosts and with nothing too much trouble, we stayed here for 3 nights from 5/2/2015 and will definitely pay a revisit soon. The CL is handy for visiting numerous places and I would recommend this CL to any club member you will not be disappointed.A true gem.

Little Gem
Just spent 4 nights at this beautifully kept CL. Lovely welcome from Maurice & Rita, who told us all there was to know about the site & surrounding areas. Site is immaculately kept, with hardstanding pitches, v clean toilets & shower. The views of rolling fields were uninterrupted. Lots of places to visit on the coast and inland too, we took a trip on the North York Moors railway up through 'Heartbeat' country. Overall a fabulous CL in a lovely part of the world , we'll be back Jan & Jon
5 Star welcome
Found this little gem last year 2013. Stayed twice now at this wonderful site with family and already booked 4 pitches for next year for our family and friends for our summer holiday! Welcome so warm they remember us by first name from last year. Looked after us so well, but not intrusive. Immaculate site, toilets spotless, welcome second to none. Thanks Maurice and Rita and as you know we shall be back again next year!

Fantastic Site
We spent ten days on this lovely CL in June and enjoyed it so much we will definitely return. The site is beautifully kept, very quiet and so well placed to visit coast or country. The owners Maurice and Rita are such lovely people we left feeling we had made new friends. Unfortunately we had a slight accident as we left the site but Maurice and his neighbour were so helpful we were soon on our way. Can't wait to go back.
Amazing
Just wanted say Thanks to Maurice & Rita for looking after us during our recent 9 nights stay, we couldn't have asked for anymore.
Personal greeting upon arrival, lovely site, morning papers to your caravan, Monday through to Saturday, (orders only) Pitch was lovely part hard standing part well maintained grass.
Loads to do in area & about 10 min drive to Brid,Filey, Scarb, as well as country side, Malton is a nice sml town.
Can't wait for our next visit

Fab site, lovely owners.
Just arrived home after a 3 night stay at the site. What a fabulous site, we most certainly will return. Only small, 5 vans but definitely not crowded. Might not be the most luxurious toilet block in the world but it was always scrupulously clean. Was like staying in a good friends back garden really. The owners are such friendly people and Maurice has every aid at hand you could possibly need. Add that to the host of places to visit nearby and you have a recipe for perfection. Well done Maurice and Rita.
A little gem
Such a nice welcome, everything was as described. Nice quiet site, just the occasional owl call at night and a few aircraft displaying overhead in the day :-)
With two toilets and a very nice shower in a portakabin. Hard standing throughout. Twenty minute drive to York, Bridlington, Scarborough. Fifteen minutes walk to choice of two pubs doing food. What more could you want?
Hope to return before too long.
