Jo and Dave were fabulous. Very friendly and helpful. The site is spotless and having fully serviced pitches at a CL site is brilliant. I would highly recommend this site it is excellent. We will be revisiting again.
Excellent.
We stayed at this site for six nights and enjoyed our stay very much.
Grey chippings for our level hard standing, water, electric point and waste water drainage on every pitch,luxury..It rained hard a few evenings but the pitch always stayed well drained and dry.
Lovely views.
We would recommend this site.
As it is next to a Hill climb course it could get noisy in the daytime if a meeting is running, but should be fine at night.
Bishop's Cleeve is not far away if you need some shopping. The Chippy was very good the best we have had for a long time.
The Cheltenham Park & Ride is just a few more miles down the road if you want a relaxed trip to town.
We would love to return to this site in 2020.
Great Site in lovely surrounds
First time here but definitely not the last. Site very clean and all pitches level although the field itself is quite sloped. Lovely views of the Cotswolds and an occasional steam train passing by.
Very friendly owners and sometimes nosey horses in the paddock. All in all a great site. Local pub " The Shutters" is excellent for food and the staff extremely friendly.

Scenic site
Arrived during the day so followed good site book instructions, which was OK other than the sign to the entrance is not very visible until you are entering site, so you may struggle on a dark night to find it exactly.
Site is tiered in a row which are all level on chipped stones (there were some weeds and thistles which I pulled up and just threw into the hedge) an absolute boon to have your own 'super pitch' with water and waste.
Views are lovely, near a road but minimal noise if at all. Unfortunately for us they were combining so the farm sounded like they had grain dryers on all the time, but it is a working farm so you expect noise. It didn't disturb our stay. I am sure after all the grain is in it would be so peaceful.
Great for walking, access to most of the local long distance walks and just local walks as the fields are wick with footpaths.
Good value at £14 including hook-up. We walked into Bishops Cleeve over the fields the nearest small village/town for groceries etc as it had 3 pubs, Tesco, new Lidl, fish & chips shop, cafes, chinese take-away. Gotherington also had a pub which was lovely with a good food menu.
Excellent site will return again.
Lovely site
This site couldn’t be better fully serviced pitches lovely owner good walks.Would definitely go back again.

No negatives here
Can't think of a single negative thing to say such was our satisfaction at our recent stay over 5 nights. The hardstanding pitches shouldn't be level but ours was. The area next to the pitch had also been levelled for an awning. The site is set on a 45° slope so very impressed. Entrance and Exit is easy, signs are erected and the access road is no worse than most B roads. The owners are very helpful and friendly. There is a decent Elsan and 2 bins, one for recycling and one for rubbish. My pity goes to the owners who have to deal with members who either choose to ignore the clear instructions or are too stupid to. All pitches are serviced and excellent value for money.
Wifi and phone signal were perfectly ok for us.
There is a local bus that passes the site that will take you into Winchcombe or Cheltenham. Not sure if you just flag it down. Best speak to the owners.
All in all, a super CL and to which we will return.
lovely site perfect for walking.
I visited this site due to its location for walking, Winchcombe is within walking distance, I did drive there, as the walks I had planned started from there.
Jo was friendly on the phone,I did not get chance to meet David or Jo, as it is a working farm, I was also out walking in the day.
Some comments were left previously about signs for the site and a path to the CDP, these have been addressed and was appreciated, as the weather was not the best on Sunday when I left.
I will be using use this site again, nice and peaceful after a long walk.........
Stunning Views
A quiet and peaceful site, with individual water supply and EHU`s. The views are stunning with the local steam train running along tracks adjacent to the CL site (but not visible except for the steam).
The location is central for visiting the Cotswolds region and Gloucestershire.
I would like take this opportunity to clarify the position of this site, as if you (like me) utilise Google Maps to establish the approach to sites, it is not currently on the map as it shows an open field.
Reading previous reviews, I was a little confused as to the actual location of this site, as it appears so were others.
Approach through the village of Gotherington towards Gretton, the Pardon Hill B&B is sited on the right hand side. 10 - 15 meters past the B&B, on the left hand side are two large green gates with Hay bails/grain store, this is the entrance to the CL site.
It has a concrete flooring and looks like you are entering a farm, but proceed straight ahead and this leads you to the gate, to the CL pitches.
At the time we visited (27/10/18) there was no evidence of a Caravan Club Sign. I am unsure if there is one or it is covered by shrubs.
It would be advantageous if the direction to this site were updated accordingly and the Caravan Club Sign made visible from the road to make life easier for club members to find.
Return Visit
A return visit to this wonderful site, this time with friends. Once again Jo and Dave were very friendly and helpful especially when there was a problem on the site which they dealt with very efficiently. Cannot recommend this site highly enough and Jo and Dave deserve all their success with this relatively new site. Will certainly return.

Quiet and peaceful
We arrived in the evening and set ourselves up as the owner was not about but we spoke to them on mobile phone and they were very helpful. Level hard standing with access to water and EHU and stunning views including a late evening run by steam locomotives on the nearby line. Well presented site, the addition of a toilet would have been a welcome addition given the price charged. Overall a very good site. Kindly allowed us to stay on a bit later to watch the Royal wedding on 19th May.
