VERY IMPRESSED

THIS IS THE FIRST TIME WE HAVE STAYED ON A CL AFTER MANY YEARS OF CARAVANING.. IT WONT BE THE LAST!. THIS CL HAS SPACIOUS HARD STANDING PITCHES ALL WITH ELECTRIC HOOK UPS AND PICNIC BENCHES. EACH PITCH IS SURROUNDED BY WELL MAINTAINED GRASSED AREAS WITH FLOWER PLANTERS. THE TOILET/SHOWER BLOCK IS IMMACULATE AND RIVALS MANY LARGER SITES. WALKS AROUND THE MARINA AND ALONG THE TOWPATH ARE LOVELY. WE WOULD DEFINATELY RECOMMED THIS CL BUT NOT TOO LOUDLY AS WE HOPE TO RETURN AND IT IS ALREADY VERY POPULAR!!

Love this CL

This was our second visit to this very popular CL and we enjoyed it as much as the first time. Went on the little RNLI boat into Audlem and walked back along the toe path with our little dog loved it and will definitely return again

Excellent CL

We have just returned from this CL after a night away here trying out our new (to us anyway) motorhome. The access is very easy & well signposted, the reception staff were welcoming & friendly. The toilets along with 'wet room' type showers were very clean & well looked after. All five pitches are on level hard standings surrounded by flowers & picnic tables which were a very thoughtful touch. The only issue we faced was that the EHU posts are quite a distance away so our cable didn't reach, but a very friendly couple on the next pitch lent us their spare extension cable as they had been caught out before. As CL's go, (remember that we are newbies) I'm sure this one rates very highly and we have booked to return already.

Lovely site

This site is immaculate, staff are very welcoming, helpful and friendly. It is lovely tobe within this marina and be able to wander around looking at all the boats or walking along the towpath. It's great for dogs and there's a nice cafe there As there was no one else coming in we were able to stay on longer than having to leave at twelve There are lots of places to visit just a short drive away We will definitely be returning

As good as it gets!

Second time we've stayed at this CL and won't be our last! Everyone very friendly and helpful.  Level hard standings.  So peaceful and relaxing, really lovely site.  Very well maintained and excellent facilities.

First class CL

We've just spent 2 weeks on Overwater Marina CL and I'm always a bit unsure what to expect when booking a CL but no such worries with Overwater Marina. With a good drive leading to the Marina and then the 5 excellent good quality hardstanding (the CC book states no hardstanding),very friendly staff in reception and the toilets and showers always kept very clean and with good heating, better than some Club sites The site is 20 minute walk along the canal from Audlem where you will find a co-op supermarket, boots chemist,Fish and chip shop and 3 dog friendly pubs With Nantwich only about 7 miles away by car, you will find a Morrisons and Aldi store and also some varied shops in the town. We will definitely be returning.

On the Navigation

Just returned from our first visit to this CL, I say ‘first’ because it won’t be our last. The site is part of a new marina complex right on the side of the Shropshire Union Canal and consists of five hard standing pitches with electric hook-up ( it’s worth checking that your cable will reach the hook-up before setting up as we found out). The friendly staff and facilities are first rate and the whole site spotless. The Coffee Lounge cafe is onsite overlooking the canal, a great place to relax and watch the barges go past while sampling one or two of the excellent homemade culinary delights on offer and I’m sure the canal itself can offer the fisher folk some sport too. Further afield, the canal tow path offers a 20 minute stroll into Audlem, that boast of being the smallest town in Cheshire but has two coffee shops a supermarket and three pubs and interesting gift shop to name but a few making use of a pleasant afternoon outing. The whole area lends itself to the walker and cyclist with places to explore within easy reach.

Nice one

Only had time for a one night stay at Overwater Marina but will go back for a longer stay next time. The place is well run with helpful staff they even sorted out a long standing problem I had with the Calor Lite recall, I could not get an exchange bottle from any Calor supplier I tried about a dozen or more over a very large area and need one ASAP but the staff sorted me out with the only one they had in stock and this was to a new customer as I had never been to this CL before. How’s that for customer service Nice One many thanks. The site itself is very pleasant with good level hard standing pitches, did not use the shower block as the weather was not good and we were pitched a long way from the building but it looked great. Café looked ok as well. Also thanks to the nice lady staff member who drew me a a local map to get to Nantwich camera club so I could give them a talk again nice one.

IMPRESSIVE

An excellent site; really easy access, well spaced hard pitches and first class shower block. Staff helpful as we were due to arrive after 5pm we phoned ahead as instructed and given the essential codes etc. Note. It's quite a hike into Audlem, not recommended after dark but only 5 mins by car.

loved it

Our first experience touring and we could not of chosen a better CL, staff were lovely and helpful and we really enjoyed our stay added bonus are the toilet and showers which are spotless, we enjoyed our trip into Audlem on the taxi boat which was excellent value and all the pubs are dog friendly, we will definitely return.
