The best of the Lake District
We must have stayed the same time as the reviewer who wrote the review titled ‘mixed feelings’, so we had similar feelings about the number of occupied pitches, and campers using the bushes for toilets... However, despite that, it’s our favourite site so far: it’s a beautiful undulating site, with lots of space between pitches, lovely views and peaceful nights. We had a week of fabulous sunshine so that might have helped!
