This was our first visit to Orchard Lodge a CL site near the village of Bibury which is about a 20-minute walk away, this is one of two sites owned by Peter and Julie, the other being Orchard Meadow, which is an all-grass site, Orchard Lodge has 4 hard standing and one grass pitch, each pitch has its own water tap, electric hook-up, grey water goes in the hedge rows. It has a good CDP secluded at the top of the site, the rubbish bins are located down the short drive by the main entrance, which is gated, they have a good information hut and Wi-Fi. We went with friends who highly recommended Orchard Lodge to us, and their recommendation did not disappoint. On arrival we received a warm and friendly welcome from Julie who made us feel right at home, early evening Peter came over and introduced himself and gave us an insight to what was in the area. This is a very peaceful location, with beautiful scenery and wonderful Walks close by. The site is very well kept by Peter and Julie who are about most days with a friendly smile and are happy to stop and chat they have a great sense of humour and make your stay one to remember. We had a great stay and are looking forward to our next visit.
