We were privileged to be the very first visitors to this lovely CL since Peter and Julie Gardener opened the site after taking over from the previous owner. Peter and Julie are new to hosting caravanners but are charming and very friendly. We have been to the site several times in the passed and have enjoyed the peace and quiet. A few changes have been made to the number and layout of the pitches. Previously there were more than five pitches to choose from ( only five were occupied however). The area has now been reduced and our favorite pitch no longer exists but it's still a great site with water taps to each pitch. Some pitches have been regravelled and may take a while to settle down. Our only regret is that we will have to find a new place to stay during the winter months as the site won't be open!
