Arriving on site there are none of the views showing on the website. The trees between the pitches have grown so tall they overhang all the pitches and block out the views. The site is very close to the main road, hence traffic noise, they are also very narrow. For my little camper it was fine, but a caravan with awning would leave no space for a car. The bins are close to the pitches and the fresh water tap is next to the chemical toilet disposal, and above the grey water disposal. There is also parking for the holiday cottages at the entrance to the site and that was quite busy. Following my first night, I left my hook-up cable as a pitch marker. At the time there were no other outfits on the site. When I returned from my day out, my hook-up cable had been taken - still no other outfits. The owners were very helpful in contacting the holiday cottages and the big house on the corner, but, not surprisingly, no-one had seen anything. I’d be interested to know how many other people leave their hook-ups as a pitch-marker!
